Mark Firestone's Online Review Report Card

Love Dr. Firestone but the office staff is beyond awful. Wait times are long without proper communication and cannot get staff on the phone (and if you do, you are placed on hold for forever and/or hung up on). Such a shame! :(

The women in my family have been seeing Dr. Firestone for over 20 years. Dr. Firestone is an amazing doctor but the new staff at the front desk is completely horrible. Especially the insurance specialist who refused to speak with my insurance representative. She stated to me, "You can call them but I won't speak to them. I've been here for 11 years." The insurance reps from my insurance had trouble getting a hold of the office in the first place and their reluctance to actually READ the details in my insurance plan. Dr. Firestone will lose business with the insurance specialist specifically and it's heartbreaking I'll have to experience my first pregnancy with a new doctor. Horrible experience for a woman newly pregnant. Especially losing clients that have worked with him for over 20 years over an "insurance specialist" who's only been there for eleven.

Dr Firestone is not only a gifted physician but also exhibits compassion. He makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He takes the time to explain and listens to all his patients concerns.

As a new client I have been put on hold for more than 20 minutes. You should hire right assistant if you planning to stay in the business!

Nice doctor but his staff is terrible. They didn’t Verify my insurance prior to my arrival, and had me waiting for two hours exactly. I finally paid out of pocket to be seen, and six weeks later I’m still waiting to be reimbursed. On top of that nobody answers the phone to assist me with this problem. If you value your time and money, I do not recommend.

I think the well being of a patient sometimes is more important that the rules that manages an office. I had an appointment and missed it because I had to drive like one hour and half to get to the doctors office due to an accident on the highway, this is what I explained to the front desk at the doctors office. I asked her to the point of almost begging her for the doctor to see some results I had and that for me were very important, a no, and no one can't do anything about it was all I got. She didn't even asked me what it was about or gave any importance to my matter (thanks god I wasn't dying or something like that) all she keeps saying was that they were almost closed, I asked her to talk to the doctors nurse and she said no, it was humiliating to be at a doctor office asking for something so simple and being refused in a very unprofessional way, as I told her I'm taking my health and business somewhere else.

A doctor with kindness, knowledge and bedside manners. I am so glad I switched over to him!
