List of Moises Mitrani's Reviews
My lesson: I should of read the reviews prior scheduling with this office. There is a reason why it has such a low rating. The front desk is UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE . I arrived 20 min prior my appointment. As a new patient, you suppose to fill up paperwork. I approached to the front desk and let them know I am here. No sign up list has been given to me, nothing. "We call you." Time goes by, nobody does anything. I told them again, my time is due, what's going on? " "You are not on schedule" , was the answer. How I am not on schedule if you called me yesterday to confirm my appointment and sent me multiple texts? I confirmed but I am not on schedule? DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME on this office and find another doctor better.
Never go there!!!! Horrible customer service
High recommend him!
This is a review of the front desk receptionist at Dr. Mitrani's office. I was referred to his office by the Aventura Hospital ER for an acute middle ear infection, acute external ear infection, and mastoiditis. I was told by the receptionist that the doctor wouldn't be able to see me same day or the following day due to him having over 70 patients today and he would be cancelling his appointments for the following day. When I asked if there could be any exception due to the agonizing pain I was experiencing and my TWO ER visits, the receptionist simply stated "no" and did not offer alternative days or doctors at the same office. Instead, she was extremely dismissive of my medical emergency (which if left untreated could evolve into meningitis...) I attempted to make an appointment online for later on in this week (6/13) and was given an appointment for AUGUST 8TH. When I called to cancel my appointment and explained to the receptionist (not sure if it was the same person I spoke to this morning) that my ear infection and mastoiditis couldn't wait almost A MONTH to be treated (which again, if left untreated can result in hearing loss, meningitis, sepsis, and even death...) she simply asked for my name and DOB to proceed with appointment cancellation. Again, no attempts to accommodate a patient experiencing a medical emergency in any way. I went to Memorial Regional ER and and was able to see the ENT specialist they referred me to within a few hours of leaving the ER. If you are experiencing a medical emergency and need to see an ENT, I would not recommend this office. Please seek alternative care.
Great care experience
Fui por problemas con mi sinusitis y tuve buenos resultados. Gracias!
855 dólares por una simple visita , diagnóstico de simple congestion nasal, over the counter spray nasal y un chequeo de 2 minutos. Simplemente ABUSIVO. Verdad? Primera y última vez. Da miedo. Yo no lo recomiendo.
I waited over an hour to see him. Three people scheduled at the same time. It took three phone calls before I got my prescriptions sent to Walgreen. And the only invoice I received was from a collection agency.
Dr. Mitrani is one of the few practitioners to accept (even new) clients in person during the pandemic. Waiting time for the first visit was 25 minutes, but I left after 30 minutes for the follow up appointment. This might not sound like a long time but during these hard times, I consider it a complete disregard of public health to stuff waiting rooms by overloading your schedule.
If you're considering to see Dr.Mitrani than reconsider. My experience: I waited two hours after scheduled time; doctor spent two minutes turned around and left w/o allowing ask questions; I went to CVS to pick up my prescription at 3pm but they received it only by 6pm and not approved by insurance company so I got my medication next day after 2 pm being in pain all that time; my next appointment was moved 3 times and I just cancelled it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
