Palm Garden's Online Review Report Card

Palm Gardens has been taking care of my mother long term for the past year. They have been super nice, good care, and maintained communication with me always. They have handled the pandemic very carefully and protecting their residents diligently. I have been able to visit my mother with no issues. I’m a former Hospital Social Worker, and I highly recommend this place, but please keep in mind, no place is 100% perfect, but the main areas that are important to me, they score very high! Thank you!!

Pretty nice facility next to Aventura Hospital. It's clean and , saff is very pleasant but bedside manners/ respect missing. Food is n very good, menu is bland and tasteless. Rehab staff is very good showing excellent skills. Food is not very good, and comes cold, un appetizing most every day.

What is there to say except thank you. Palm Garden helped make the last few months of my grandfather's life comfortable and dignified. The nursing staff was always courteous and caring, and the administration staff was always available to answer any questions or concerns. Even with the Covid restrictions, the staff always allowed us to extend our visits. Thank you for all you did.

My mother stayed at Palm Garden for a while during the pandemic and the staff was compassionate in their care. They were great in calling me and keeping me up-to-date, I truly appreciated that. I do want to mention Indiana, who on day one was professional and caring in assisting my mom.

Looks can be VERY DECEIVING!!! When we first visited the location everything seemed great from the cleanliness to the staff. Upon my grandmother's arrival everything was great up until she was 6 months in. The service started going down hill. Instead of my grandmother being a patient she became just another check for the nursing home. Matters got worse during the pandemic. The staff provided inaccurate and false information concerning my grandmother. To get a hold of someone is almost impossible and when you do the nurses are really rude. The staff is not properly trained when it comes to policies and procedures especially during a pandemic. I would NOT reccomend this place to ANYONE.

Bonito lugar,pero malísima atención con los pacientes,nada de medicamentos a su hora y primero ves a Trump que a una enfermera,la comida super mala y el baño para que decirte,no entiendo nada ,se supone que el que está en el lugar necesita ayuda y es lo menos que hacen,más cuando hablas poco Inglés, no le interesa la recuperación de nadie,solo cobrarle al seguro tuyo y darte largo para seguir cobrando,me lleve a mi hermano para la casa,estuvo 2 semanas y ni 1 fisioterapia, no sirve.

VERY BAD SERVICE. My friend was just operated with a very big problem, and did not received the pain killer. She was screaming on pain for hours, and the "nurse" or Assistant said they did not have the medicine. My friend, THE PATIENT, called home and then that, the Assistant ordered the medicine and after hours waiting she got the pain medicine. Very bad service.

I came here two weeks ago, and I am pleased with what I found. The nurses, CNAs, and therapists were all very helpful. I've gotten stronger and am able to take care of myself. The staff all works together as a team to get things done. I'm so happy with my decision to come to Palm Garden. A special thank you to - Mila, Vony, Linet, Jacque, Joan, Mirlande, Beatrice, Indiana, Jose, Minnie, Julie and all the therapists.

My brother in law spent three days asking for a bandage to get changed out. Something necessary to prevent infection, fever, etc. Each time he asked the nurses would say yeah we'll get around to it. It wasnt until we called a supervisor that it got done. Very sad that it had to be like that. Before that his roommate died and they left the body in there with him for hours. Very disgusting and dispecable place.

Palm garden of adventure is horrible experience for my family. Facility kitchen unsanitary. Kitchen workers speak little English or none at all. I felt ignored. Saw arguments between fellow staffs in front of me. I have seen  various forms of unprofessionalism. Food arrive raw chicken to me or cold food. Phone in kitchen never answered when I call for help. There was no willingness to satisfy my needs. This place needs serious improvement. Kitchen manager never there to enforce and oversee the kitchen is run properly when I need to vocalize my concerns. My words mean nothing to the owner just money. I still hope this place will care more.
