I was admitted to Advent Celebration with severe sepsis. He was the hospitalist. Was stabilized with antibiotics by the infectious disease specialist. Couldn’t sleep, fever chills and perfuse sweating. Felt a scratch in my throat, asked for a Covid test, he denied care citing hospital resources and the fact that I was already on antibiotics. Developed cough and yellow phlegm over next 3 days as I begged for a respiratory test and a chest X-ray. I had been overseas on multiple flights, am paralyzed with 75% lung capacity and a history of asthma and pneumonia. He brushed those factors aside citing the CDC guidelines. 4th day I insisted and we found that I had Covid. Had the audacity to flirt with my wife right outside my room. He is extremely arrogant with what seems to me to be an inferiority complex. A little boy with a Dr prefix and zero bedside manner.
