Dr Panera is a GREAT Doctor! He and his staff are always professional and answer all questions I have for a treatment for my medical needs. He has recently moved from Bartow Office to the South Florida Avenue office. Very easy access off S Florida ave and the Polk turnpike.

After falling and breaking her femur on a Sunday, my 94 year old mother went through surgery to put a plate on her bone. Monday night, she vomited blood for hours. Tuesday morning, he came in to my mom's room (I wasn't there, but my son was). He proceeded to tell her about the colonoscopy she was going to get, that she'd need surgery if he found cancer and that she'd need chemo therapy and scared her so bad she just shook her head "no" at him. My son asked him if he could come back when I was there and the doctor snapped back at my son and said, "well, she signs her own consent, doesn't she?" then proceeded to talk on his cell phone and walk out. I have POA and know how to talk to my mom without scaring her to death and his dismissive and arrogant attitude is a shame.

The wait time i am a new patient and had to wait 1 hr & 20 mins to see him. Think its uncalled for. The staff is great. They need to schedule better or something

I have been going here a long time and the Doctor has always been thorough ,kind, pleasant, and very informative on everything. His staff is nice and Erin does a amazing job with everything she does, from her nursing care to all the scheduling and dealing with insurance and other Doctors for Authorizations. I dont know how she does it! Shes the Bomb!!

Dr Panara has been amazing, he has been the first doctor that has tried to fined out what is going on with my stomach issues which i have been dealing with sense 2008 so if you have any GI issues set up an appt. and his staff is great

The comment about the wait time is dead on. Waiting room was packed, and I waited about an hour for my appointment. Dr. Panara seemed knowledgeable, but only spent 5 minutes with me. He didn't ask many questions and seems annoyed when I interrupted him to ask one. Best thing about this office is his staff. Although unorganized, they are very friendly

One of the worst doctor offices I've ever been in. How do you schedule 20 people for the same time? Just to have them sit there. And to charge the rates you do. This doctor needs a reality check And some new staff
