Melissa Lazarus's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Lazarus for a few years for a yearly skin check and had been satisfied until my most recent visit. Saw the doctor over a month and a half ago. She told me to call the office if I have a problem filling my script. I have called half a dozen times, spoke to the office manager, no help. Asked to have Dr. Lazarus call me 3 different times, no phone call. Still don't have my script. I am going to find another Doctor that actually cares about their patients and follows up.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Melissa Lazarus diligently for the past decade. Dr. Lazarus is a superb dermatologist. The front desk staff are always helpful & very efficient. Dr. Lazarus has a lovely friendly, bright & warm personality. She’s chatty, has flawless skin herself & is very knowledgeable. She knows her patients’ needs. She asks questions, addresses any concerns & makes the right recommendations. I will be forever grateful when she recommended that I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash years ago because it really was all I needed to keep my skin blemish-free. She could have suggested a multitude of many more expensive products but knew that this inexpensive drugstore item worked just fine. I highly recommend Dr. Lazarus. She takes immense pride in her profession, devotes time to ensuring that her patients are completely satisfied, she is caring and most important, she keeps our skin healthy and cancer-free! She is conveniently located in Bay Harbor Islands.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Melissa Lazarus diligently for the past decade. Living in Miami where the beating sun is a constant and the threat of skin cancer is ever present, it’s critical to do a bi-annual skincare check. Dr. Lazarus is a superb dermatologist. At my appointment last week (scheduled at the incredibly convenient time of 7:00 am, Friday morning - a godsend if you have to go to work afterwards), I was whisked in right away. The front desk staff are always helpful and very efficient. One is also reminded about an upcoming appointment several times in the days ahead – very handy! Dr. Lazarus has a lovely friendly, bright and warm personality. She’s chatty, has flawless skin herself and is very knowledgeable. She knows her patients’ needs. She asks questions, addresses any concerns and makes the right recommendations. I will be forever grateful when she recommended that I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash years ago because it really was all I needed to keep my skin blemish-free. She takes the time to listen to your concerns & focuses on giving you the best outcome.She's so meticulous where she injects. She's the first Dr I have given complete confidence & control to. In the 2 years of seeing her I always come out looking incredible & natural. Most importantly she is so gentle I've never bruised or been in pain! Dr. Lazarus is wonderful. Bright, knowledgeable and caring. She takes the time to discuss and answer any questions, and point out questions you might not have thought to ask. ****Dr.Lazarus even returned a call on a Saturday summer night in July, when we called her number to ask for medical help while out of the country! Not only that, BUT! She returned our call right away, and when we couldn't answer, she left a message that she would try again!! Which she did ten minutes later!! SO GREAT!

Doctor was very pleasant but seemed extremely rushed. Treated two precancerous lesions which have both remained in spite of treatment. Only treated what I pointed out and did not do a thorough exam.
