List of Esther Baldinger's Reviews
I was the doctors patient when she practiced in Brooklyn, NY. She was an amazing person and doctor. She was always spot on when it came to my condition & my anxiety. Wish she were still here in Brooklyn NY.
She has been my neurologist for over 20 years. The absolute best.
Dr. Baldinger is the best doctor that I have ever had. She has ALWAYS been attentive to my needs and very courteous. She spends more than ample time with me which I greatly appreciate. Yes the wait time can be lengthy and her staff not as courteous as I would like for them to be, but Dr. Baldinger is a GREAT doctor and awesome person. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!!!
I made an appointment with Dr. Ester Baldinger on the recommendation of another doctor who I saw briefly. I read some reviews before I went, they were mixed, but I wanted to go and anyway because she was not to far away and they were able to fit me in. However, when I got there I ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours, but I eventually left. I find this totally unacceptable. What the receptionist should've done is to call the people who had appointments that day to let them know that the doctor was running late. There was no communication whatsoever. I eventually left but I really should left much, much earlier. Also I overheard other people in the waiting room talk about how shocked they were that there was no handicapped access for those in wheelchairs, or those who have trouble using steps. This is actually illegal. I am sure the doctor knows this and I really hope someone address this and contacts the Americans For Disabilities Act and takes them to court. Even though this doctor works out of her own home there is just no excuse for not abiding by the law. How would she feel if she had a family member with a physically limitation and went somewhere where there was limited access for them. I am sure she would not be very happy, to put it mildly. So I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
A great Doctor. Helped me immensely with my anxiety problem, and assisted in how to control it without a drug. Takes a great deal of interest In her patient's well being. I highly recommend!
I don't understand how this woman is practicing medicine. She is aloof and distracted, not even listening or if she did hear one sentence, contradicting what you tell her. This practice is obviously only interested in billing patients and getting patients into pharmaceutical studies for payment. She could have helped my mother, instead she attempted medicating her with something that could not have helped in any way. Turns out my mother had a simple diagnosis, but this "doctor" did not even come out from behind her huge desk to interact with her. And upon leaving gave rx's for tests and outdated useless meds that are still being studied from 20 years ago. NO patient in the waiting room was ambulatory on their own, and were accompanied by caretakers or family members with some walking assist apparatus yet there is NO RAMP at entry but 5 concrete steps. When I asked about why no ramp I was told "they're all here with someone, they can make it." Disgusting and should be investigated.
I went to Dr. Baldinger at the recommendation of a friend. I described my symptoms to her and she told me that they were noing to be concerned about, that I was perfectly healthy. She went through a variety of reasons as to why I might be feeling the symptoms I was feeling. I finally pushed for an MRI and my suspicions of MS were correct. When discussing the new diagnosis, she told me to research the different kinds of treatments I could use online and see if any seemed appealing to me! After a diagnosis such as this, one does not want to feel like they have to make treatment decisions. A good doctor knows which medications would be most helpful in each case. I do not feel like I was given emotional support by her as well. I quickly moved on to a specialist who I truly love. Her nurse (who happens to be her sister) was also quite snippy with me on the phone when I was concerned about MRI results.
Staff is not chatty but very efficient. Small office. Not very attractive BUT... The doctor spent a very long time with me, took a most detailed history and helped with a problem I have had for many years. She uses both conventional and holistic elements to remedy problems. I travel a long way to see her and will continue to do so.
Completely disagree with below reviews. Doctor was courteous professional and knowledgeable. Staff was helpful and made me feel comfortable.
Not sure about the doctor, could not get past the incredibly rude woman who answered the phone. Since she was so nasty I decided this would not be the place for me so went elsewhere to find a neurologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
