Elvia Vallejo's Online Review Report Card

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vallejo and her staff. I first went to her bc I thought I had a miscarriage. Luckily I did not! She safely delivered my miracle baby several months later. I needed a lot of care during my pregnancy and I was in such good hands. I’m so grateful for her. I have a beautiful photo of her with my baby taking her first breath. She is such a talented and caring doctor. I will never forget her and her staff.

Going to Dr. Vallejo for few years. I never had bad experience with her until I got pregnant my first pregnancy, I was sick the whole time of my pregnancy I speck to her many times and how she can do to help me with that she just give me an medicine that was not doing nothing at all, when I finish those medications I was still sick she knew about it she didn’t did nothing about it like she didn’t care I stared getting worry about it and I ended losing my baby at 5 months pregnant because I had Hypermesis gravidarum . The Worst experience of my life . I ended changing doctor and this when I find out baby was dead and this cause the lost of my baby . Dr Vallejo make for bad medical outcomes & a patient experience. Dr Vallejo is cold, dismissive, not communicative and difficult to understand. She could likely handle simple pregnancies not nothing with any complication. I moved care away from her because she was not communicative even with routine screens, and slow to act on adjusting medication, follow up, etc. also didn’t like to answer questions or engage with the patient. If you are a fist mommy pregnant DON’T GO TO HER!!!!!!

I saw Dr Vallejo as I got closer to my due date since I had scheduling conflicts with my primary OB. She was great. I didn't have any pregnancy complications but as a first time mom she reassured me and answered all my questions.

Doctors like Dr. Vallejo are hard to come by… She delivered both of my children and never once made me feel rushed in any appointment. She is knowledgeable, thorough, respectful, kind, and puts her patients first. I am heartbroken at her departure from baycare. She will be missed!!

Takes the time to answer questions, making sure patients understand their situation and prescribed course of treatment, and always appears to have a genuine kind and compassionate demeanor - excellent doctor! (..will be missed!)

Overall, the services I have received from this provider have been exceptional. Excellent customer service, an excellent doctor, and a pleasant staff. The facility is clean and really quiet. When I visit this provider, I always feel comfortable and welcome.

Baycare / Dr Vallejo make for bad medical outcomes & a patient experience. Dr Vallejo is cold, dismissive, rude, not communicative and difficult to understand. I moved care away from her because she was not communicative even with routine screens, and slow to act on adjusting medication, follow up, etc. also didn’t like to answer questions or engage with the patient. Baycare is a clinic with poor patient interaction, poor communication. Their communication portal sucks, the check in staff are rude, and the nurses assistants are inexperienced. Doing everything from understanding the forms at check in, getting labs drawn due to inexperienced techs, or understanding where to go for labs / screens was difficult. Even getting a medical History from my ~2 month stint as a patient was impossible and I had to do it myself. If OBGYN care is needed, I would make the drive and go to St Pete’s. I transferred to a different medical provider 1/2 way through my pregnancy and it ended up being a good decision. Hilariously no one here cared and called me 2-3 months later after I’d cancelled my follow up, I guess recognizing I hadn’t been back!
