She was very friendly and also did a great job of explaining the results.
I love my dr there but some of the staff is out to lunch , literally, I called 3 days ago because I am completely out of my medication and I let them know Im out, plz call asap, still no return phone call , wth!
Unfortunately, I usually do not get to see Dr. Manitsas but her NP, Carol is awesome too. With my initial new diagnosis of PBC (Crohns Disease is in remission and Fatty Liver stable) Dr. Manitsas was able to educate me and calm my fears. I love her and her staff! Yes, I had to wait a couple months to get in with her but this is an issue with our broken medical system, not Dr. Manitsas. She and Carol have been on top of my care from the get go.
I wasn’t allowed to meet the doctor until right before my procedure. I was the first procedure of the day, and she was 20 minutes late. When I met her, I felt like she was rushing our conversation because of her lateness. She then said she was going to prescribe me on a certain medicine. When I picked up my medicine from the pharmacy, I realized it was the same stuff I’ve already been taking! This is how much she knew about me. My biopsy results came back 4 days later and I found out from my patient portal. Here we are 3 weeks later, and no one has called me about my results. Thank god my friend told me how to set up an account so I could look. I am suffering every day with pain and losing weight without trying. She doesn’t seem to care. She also wouldn’t do an upper endo at the same time as my colonoscopy. Don’t fall for this scam. It’s all about the money. There is absolutely no reason someone can’t do it at the same time. Oh, did I mention I work in healthcare too?
She was very helpful...
I don't get to see my doctor. It always changes to someone else, a ARNP or another doc. It's frustrating. It's been over a year since I've seen Dr Manitsas.
I was not crazy about the doctor's procedures for a colonoscopy. I was a new patient to her. The office schedules you to have the pre-procedure physical appointment with her PA/NP, the office schedules the procedure, the doctor introduces herself right before anesthesia puts you under, the doctor tells you you have a polyp post procedure and instructs you to schedule a follow-up with her PA/NP to explain the findings to you. The NP/PA was not even at the procedure. There basically is no relationship with the doctor. Plus the office was not flexible in allowing you to schedule the procedure at another facility which they advertise they do procedures. I thought the directed Clearwater cCenter was a dump.
Called to get set up with the doctor here and was told I can't be seen until February. That's honestly the dumbest thing I've ever heard and now will be reaching out elsewhere and telling people to stay away from this place. Obviously helping people is not what this place is about.
Dr Menitsas is very attentive, listens to the patient, explains everything in detail that the patient can understand, offers solutions to the problem ,great doctor!!!
Dr. Manitsas is the best GI doctor around! In 2008 I started getting very sick and was admitted to the hospital for weeks at a time on a monthly basis for 3 long years. No other doctor could figure me out. I was on my deathbed, down to 78lbs in ICU, being fed with a feeding tube. I was losing hope but then I met this Angel, Dr. Manitsas. Through her dedication, determination and relentless effort to find answers- she was the one to figure out what was wrong with me. She SAVED MY LIFE! I'm forever grateful to her! Thank you Dr. Manitsas, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have survived.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
