I wish Dr. Gerrish was my “everything” doctor because he’s so amazing. He takes time to listen, he asks questions to make sure he understands what the problem is. When he wants to prescribe meds or run a test he asks if that’s ok with me. He is sensitive to what is covered by my insurance and he’s relentless in getting to the right solution for my issues. I can’t say enough positive things…definitely my favorite doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Gerrish for about 6 years and he is very knowledgeable does not get in a hurry answers any questions you may have no matter how dumb you think they are and he is really nice.

I give Dr. Garrish a low review because he chose Bay Care Gastroenterology to practice his field. The place is old and run down. It has to be the most unorganized staff I have seen to date . They are the most uncaring and ill-informed health care workers to date. Cant even work the phones properly, if you get lucky and someone answers. I have no idea why a Dr. would want to be associated with a run down depressing place such as Bay Care Gastroenterology. I have been a patient for 3 yrs and its the same tired depressing scene

Dr. Gerrish is great, but be careful. Although he is a in-network provider with our Blue Cross/Shield, unbeknown to me, he used a out-of-network provider anesthesiologist. Didn't realize it until I got the $4200.00 bill. Never faced such a situation with a surgical procedure. Something I will take up with the Blues, Gerrish office and the anesthesiologist.

I don't care about office staff, bedside manner, or anything but the competence of the Dr. This is one of the best. I was an RN for years, and Dr. Gerrish explains everything well, and at an appropriate level. The care and concern I received was excellent. I have found his office staff very friendly and responsive to any questions.
