I do not recommend this doctor; and I'll tell you why, and I hope you will think twice before either staying with him as a patient or becoming one. A few years ago my wife and I were in a terrible head on collision with a large old pick up truck. I had a broken tibia, 13 ribs busted, glass in my face and body , two vertebrae in my back broken and fractured sternum. My wife had a broken hand, broken foot, broken back, broken neck and a also a fractured sternum. After the accident we called Dr. Whinnen and explained what happened to us. We had been patients of his over three years. This was his reply to us, " I can't see you ." Without a primary care doctor, no specialist would see us due to the fact that we needed referrals. Imagine our surprise when we were at our most vulnerable and busted up, he refused to be involved with us. God help you if you find yourselves in our predicament and you need to depend on him. It took hospital stays, surgeries and months of therapy to become somewhat functional today. We still suffer from that accident till this very day, but we were fortunate to find a primary doctor and specialists to help us.

I love Dr. Whinnen. My husband and I began seeing him as our General Practicioner since 2003. He has never let is down as far as accurate diagnosis. He is always prompt for our appointments and spends adequate time with us during our appointment time. I highly recommend Dr, Whinnen, his team and his staff.
