I did not choose to see this doctor, she was assigned to my case while I was under observation at Baptist hospital. Her manner was brusque and her attempt to impose her own religious views into the discussion was beyond the pale! I was very uncomfortable and felt bullied. When she returned, still chewing something & with crumbs on the side of her mouth, I refused her services! Now she has the nerve to send me a bill for "Expanded Problem Focus". The problem that should be focused on is dr. emirata castillo's lack of professionalism!

She's all business; if you want someone who cares, look somewhere else.

I went there ONLY for my annual exam I may have mentioned cramps and she file a claim not just for my exam but also for an outpatient visit for pelvic pain, it has been a complete billing nightmare because they are charging me for co insurance charges after she filed charges total $432 because of the way the visit was filed. I also complained about another condition which she refused to prescribe meds and said that there was a better treatment, 3 months later and nothing. it's all about $$$$$

Got blood work done. They told me, you can pay $10 here or drive down the street to quest and pay $10 there. That's a pretty easy decision, why would I drive somewhere else to pay the same amount? I paid the $10 in the office. Come to find out quest is now billing me $10 also to process the results. I went to quest the week before for the same blood test and the total was $11.04. This doctors office clearly has communication issues.

Dr. Castillo is the best doctor I've ever delt with. She's caring, helpful nd understanding. I will 100% recommend her to any one.

Dr. Castillo entered the office as a new Doctor when i was just about 32 weeks pregnant, as i had been seen through out my pregnancy with the lead Doctor Hugo Ferrara and mid wife Alexa i was sceptical about her, however she prooves me 300% wrong, the day i deluvered my son i asked for a c-section as i was being forced to push when i wasnt ready, as she walked into thebroom to prepare me for the OR (operating room) she encouraged me and motivated me in having a natural vaginal birth as she had the patience and gave me all encouragment i pushed exactly 31 minutes and met my handsome first born baby boy Nathaniel, Dr.Castillo is honestly the best Doctor that has ever treated me,i recommend her to everyone ! i say shes my angel shes the best and is always right there beside you no matter what, shes an amazi.g Doctor and is annincredible supporter !
