Aida Murko's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Murko for five years and she has helped me immensely with finding the right combination of medications. I have seen a laundry list of psychiatrists in the past, and she is the most knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring. She really wants to see her clients get better! Her office staff is organized, responsive, and kind. I would definitely recommend her to anyone searching for a psychiatrist.

Dr. Murko is an excellent provider of psychiatric services. I've been seeing her for a few years now, and she is cordial and knowledgeable.

Dr. Murko is phenomenal. She has immeasurable knowledge in psychiatric treatment. Through years of treatment with her not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare...few and far between to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient like me. Absolutely outstanding quality of medical care, and great staff. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

I went to see Dr Murco for help with my 14 year old son he has been suffering with a learning disorders all of his life . Was hoping to find a light at the end of the tunnel I see her. Find guidance on how to work best with him and his school but instead she told me that my son will never amount to anything. That I should not bother sending him to college that he will never learn anything. And it would be a complete waste of my money. I mean seriously? What kind of doctor would do that and discouraged a child from wanting to succeed in life?

Dr.Murko is very caring and compassionate. Dr Murko also listens to you!!! Very knowledgeable...I highly recommend.

Despite a decent pedigree and nice looking office, Dr. Murko falls short on ability to connect and understand her patients. My daughter had been going to this doctor for 4 years and during that time, her diagnosis has constantly shifted and often contradicted herself. Essentially a shotgun approach and still has yet to provide a helpful treatment. When we would arrive, Dr. Murko appeared tired, eyes shot, uninterested, and indifferent. Literally, my daughter would walk in and she would ask, "any thoughts of hurting yourself?", and then when my daughter would say "no", Dr. Murko would ask a few basic questions and send us on our way. Point is, I think there is such a thing as being "burnt out" from a job. I think this doctor should have retired years ago as she seems uninterested in helping her patients. Likes prescribing meds, talking about her grandkids, and scheduling lots of appointments !!!

I've been seeing her for over a year. She's a good, experienced doctor, but not for the faint of heart. She's definitely been doing this for a long time, which can be kind of numbing. She's VERY blunt with me, which isn't particularly my style, I believe any doctor should be more kind. considerate, and sensitive. I'm generally very aware of my mental health, and I don't like how quick she was to label me. She's very analytical and sticks to the labels. She can seem very conceited because of this. She wasn't open to my suggestions to change my medication, and claimed that the side effects (paranoia) weren't causes by the medication...they were "just my personality". i stopped taking them a month ago and i feel better. I think we have very different personalities, and my mom is unhappy how she's prescribing me very strong medications now. We are looking for a new doctor, but I am still very grateful for what she has done for me.

Dr. Murko is caring and takes time to speak with her patients to understand their issues.

I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was rude and had a bad attitude
