Albert Dabbah's Online Review Report Card

My family have been patients of Dr. Dabbah’s for about 15 years, and we cannot recommend him strongly enough (we were referred by a friend who’d been in a terrible car accident and needing several reconstructive/corrective plastic surgeries, and I am forever grateful that she did). Dr. Dabbah and his staff all treat you with the utmost care and compassion from your very first visit, throughout your procedure and post-op, going out of their way to make sure that you are 1000% taken care of. Our surgical history: Dr. Dabbah performed surgery on my son’s gynecomastia when he was 18, and that was absolutely transformative for my son in so many ways (he was INCREDIBLY self-conscious about this but had to wait till he was through puberty before having the surgery). He even did it in a way that the (very minor) scars are not even noticeable. I cannot express how life changing this was for my son and how Dr. Dabbah was extremely compassionate with my son, and made sure my son felt safe and reassured (and importantly, not embarrassed or self-conscious). Dr. Dabbah has also performed a few procedures on me (starting back in 2008), and I honestly would not trust anyone else, especially not with my face. What we especially appreciate is the time Dr. Dabbah (and his staff) take to explain things, the how, the why (or why not), and letting you know realistic expectations for whatever it is you’re having done. The level of care that you from Dr. Dabbah as well as his staff – is unrivaled. You’re not a dollar sign, you’re family. If you have a problem, you call anytime – day or night – and he will call you back within minutes. Their patients are their family, and they treat them as such. If you want the best, go see Dr. Dabbah.

Dr. D had to repair a large hole in my nose due to mohs surgery. I was shocked at my looks, and did not understand how I would heal without being disfigured. Professionals from other offices were impressed by the results when they learned about my surgery because it wasn't readily apparent to others unless I told them. He is a superior surgeon.

Dr Dubbah was paid to remove a small chin implant and replace with a new chin implant. But he did not remove, instead because of his thoughtlessness he left the old chin implant and placed a larger size implant in my chin. It has caused me much pain and suffering. He refused to acknowledge my pain and that I might have two implants. This was 6 months ago and I’m still in pain and discomfort. Dr. Dabbah refused to believe me, he has no empathy or compassion. I found another surgeon who took a CT scan that shows both implants. I then paid another qualified surgery to remove the original implant and the new larger implant which was found to be mobile and was positioned almost 1 cm below the inferior border of the chin in the midline with the wings of the implant pressing on the neurovascular bundles. It caused me and still causing me terrible nerve pain. I’m having to pay for a third surgery to repair his terrible mistake which he has not acknowledged. Keep away from this surgeon if you value your life!

RUN. Do not walk from this plastic surgeon. He disfigured both my wife and myself. My wife went to him for a tummy tuck, and will now spend the rest of her life with a pregnant looking belly! Dr. Dabbah’s take: “It must be gas.” A visit to her internist disproved that lie. My “eye job,” designed to remove bags under my eyes, left me with a lump under one of my eyes. Dr. Dabbah’s response: “It’s just a high cheekbone.” Having this incompetent take a knife to you leads to life-long regret.

Dr. Dabbah is one of most trustworthy, thoughtful and kind doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His attention to detail and kind demeanor made everything about my visit with him comfortable and disarming. He is a calm, capable, patient advocate and will always err on the side of safety and concern when it comes to your health and well being. I couldn’t recommend him more for both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery just based on his diligent intention and thoughtfulness when dealing with his patients.

Dr. Blumofe surgeon ,along with plastic surgeon Dr. Dabbah operated on me on Friday & they were AMAZING ! I have no pain , no soreness in either my shoulder or arm pit . I walked out of the Hospital literally feeling nothing. Did not need pain killer or anything . Magical ! I am still amazed 3 days later & looks even better then I ever imagined ! Thank you !

I had to have surgery in early May for Melanoma in my upper arm. Dr. Dabbah was my plastic surgeon. The general Surgeon took out a big area of my arm, as big around as a grapefruit. Normally for an area that large it would require skin grafts. As I am 72 years old with extra skin (due to weight loss) and underarm flab, he was able to just do a long L incision and basically give me an arm lift, wrapping the excess underarm skin around to close the incision. I never had any pain at all from the wound. I did have major swelling in my arm 2 days later. On Sunday night no amount of ice packs was reducing the swelling and it had become red and warm. This was not on the incision area and was not at all related to his excellent work. I wound up calling a friend to take me to the ER. On my next visit with Dr. Dabbah he told me I could have called him instead of going to the ER. It was not infected and was a normal reaction that happened to some people. I can't remember the medical term. The general surgeon confirmed this. I was stunned speechless that he said I could have called him on a Sunday night at 8 PM. In the 30 years I have lived on Florida no doctor has offered that level of care. The results of my surgery came out great. They got all the Melanoma in my arm and the lymph node removed from my armpit was cancer free. On my last visit he recommended that I do a follow up with the Oncologist just to see if any additional screening would be necessary in the future. My scar in my arm after 10 weeks looks like it is a year old at least. My conclusion is that Dr. Dabbah is an amazing and very talented doctor. His staff is wonderful as well, especially Michelle at the front desk. If you are currently looking for a plastic surgeon, either for medical reasons or cosmetic reasons, your search is over. Dr. Dabbah is a very talented surgeon and a wonderful human being as well.
