List of Andrew Ross's Reviews
Excellent results. Very pleasant personality.
I was scheduled for a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Ross saw me for the pre-assessment. He is up front and professional. He answered all my questions in a kind and understandable manner. He is very calm and inspires confidence. He has a dry humor, which I find funny and witty. I trust him because of his delivery. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I *did* have problems when I called to get information on transportation to the surgical center and when I called to inform them that the pharmacy did not have the prep. The "medical assistant"who answered me about the facility and prep was rude. She yelled at me, and did not answer me in a professional manner. I got the impression someone noticed her tone because she stopped yelling in mid sentence and said she would call the pharmacy. She did not. When I called to schedule the transportation the office said they did not do that. It is written on the prep paperwork. I had to wait ane was transferred to different people.
I was scheduled for a standard colonoscopy at Baptist Health Outpatient Surgical Center. During the procedure, I must have reacted to the sedation and my oxygen levels crashed. Upon waking up after the procedure, Dr. Ross and the anesthesiologist informed me that I had "a major respiratory event", that they had to clear my airways and inject me with steroids to stabilize me. I knew immediately that something was wrong and was still struggling to breath properly. They gave me more IV steroids and 2 breathing treatments and determined I was stable enough to go home. They provided no instructions on what to do should I continue to have O2 issues. Within several hours I was admitted into the hospital with a lung aspiration that ultimately turned into pneumonia. Dr. Ross and the anesthesiologist should have never let me leave the surgical center in the condition I was under. Fortunately I contacted my pulmonologist (and my mom is a nurse) and they got me into the hospital.
Terrible bedside manners and cocky. He was in a hurry and didn’t want to listen or diagnose properly. Does not take the time to explain and answer questions.
Operated on me excellent job even scar disappeared quickly. He was wonderful
Dr. Ross performed Robotic surgery on me less than a week ago. He is a talented doctor who knows what he's doing & does it well. His finesse is magical. Dr. Ross is sure of himself & thus allowed me to know I was in strong, capable hands from day 1. I'm more of a chicken than someone who powers through easily. So when I say I'm feeling good a few days after surgery, this is a meaningful statement. Dr. Ross is highly experienced, highly trained & confident. This is the person you want to see & to treat you. I am truly grateful to Dr. Ross.
Dr. Ross is friendly and professional, and a talented surgeon. He has a truly kind bedside manner, and the staff from nurses to front desk are all truly friendly and welcoming. A great experience.
Terrible bedside manner but essentially a good doctor. Unfortunately if u can't communicate properly with someone who is handling your life thongs can get complicated.
Dr. Ross saved my son’s life. He is an excellent surgeon and a very caring and thorough physician. He is the best of the best. For the past three months he has been responsible for the healing process of my son’s surgery. I can not recommend him highly enough.
Post 5 month Rotator Cuff surgery. Significant tear. Additional 1 hr surgical time was required to perform procedure. I just received full clearance. Dr. Ross and his staff are true professionals. I can’t put in words my gratitude for everything they’ve done. Rockstar performance. I highly recommend Dr. Ross. Thank you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
