Angelos Manganiotis's Online Review Report Card

Went for a vasectomy consultation and ultimately got my procedure done with Dr. Manganiotis. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I would easily recommend to anyone looking for a urologist. Office staff was friendly also and provided me with any information I needed promptly.

My visit with Dr Manganiotis was excellent. He solved all my problems. The back office however has been unwilling to send my records electronically( important to me because I am on the road all the time). This is why the star rating is only a five.

Very disorganized front desk. I called and spoke with Julie on July 9th, 2021. My insurance clearly shows that Dr. Manganiotis is in-network but Julie couldn't find my plan After I emailed and sent my insurance card and drivers license she confirmed that my plans covered and scheduled an appointment on September 9th 2021 Come the morning of, Julie failed to log me in the system for the appointment and denied that we ever spoke on the phone. After I showed her evidence of both my email and the insurance plan that shows Dr. Manganiotis is in network, she dismissed the information and said it's an old list and had a hostile attitude in order for me to leave. No empathy or apologies made on her end, placing the blame as if I made the whole story up. Dr. Manganiotis, I hope you see this review and address the seriousness of this situation

The receptionist has no customer service manners. Lacks any knowledge with insurance. She said the insurance was not active so we called United Heathcare and she spoke to the representative directly. The receptionist argued with United Healthcare saying she was wrong. I never saw such a stupid action by a doctors receptionist. The office had no one waiting to see the doctor and guess the reason is because of the receptionist. The poorest most rude person. Patient care should be first in line and the issue was my brother-in-law in law was in pain. She turned us away despite have valid insurance. We even said we pay with a credit card as backup to the insurance but she said no. Carma will have its day with her.

Dr Manganiotis is one of the best doctors in Boca Raton. He always gave more than enough time at our appointments to clearly explain procedures. He has excellent bedside manner. I read some reviews complaining about insurance issues yet in my opinion, all worth it to see a doctor that listens, advises and provides outstanding medical care. Rare from other providers these days. Thank you Dr. M!

when a physical condition suddenly turned for the worse. Dr. Manganiotis and his staff performed with kindness and efficiency. They scheduled surgery promptly, I was well informed of my different choices. When the doctor came to visit after the surgery? He told me everything and it helped me feel better and informed. In the follow-up visit I was happy to know that everything was clear and that I could move forward medicine free.. Kudos Dr. M, Ron, Francisco, Julie, Camille et al..

Have had my share of bad experiences with other Urologist concerning a kidney stone. Dr. M has restored my faith in Boca Raton urologists. He is extremely personable & knowledgeable. First he examined me, then an ultrasound followed by a sit down to discuss my options. Haven't had that type of first class treatment in quite a while.

My brother was in pain due to a kidney stone, his insurance was active with United Health Care but the receptionist Judy made the mistake by inputting the wrong number from the card so it was declined. I called United and gave the phone to Judy. The representative told her the plan was active but Judy argued with the person on the phone. Given the pain my brother was in, I offered my credit card and told Judy I would work with the insurance and company afterwards if necessary. Although my brother was in a wheelchair due to pain, Judy felt NO compassion and refused to attend us. Should't human compassion be number one from a doctor's office? We had valid insurance, we had money as back up, we basically begged Judy but she said No. We had no choice to leave ... What is going on in the medical field that is losing the purpose to care, alleviate pain and cure the patient or is Judy an exception as a person that does not care for others?

There was no kindness for my bother that was suffering? Thank God we found another doctor that afternoon that along with his staff was kind, professional, compassionate and friendly. They took the time to write the numbers from my brother's insurance card correctly. He ended up to have emergency surgery later that night.
