My husband had nasal septum surgery by Dr Wirtschafter. He was very professional, caring and meticulous with his care. My husband recovered well without complications. He can finally breathe after 40 years of difficulty! Thank you, Dr Wirtschafter!!!

I highly recommend you not waste your time making an appt for this office. I scheduled an appt for my child 3 weeks in advance to have an 8:10AM appt. I gave them my insurance on that call, and again 4 days before the appt when I filled out online paperwork. I showed up on time for our appt and nobody at the office thought to get authorization from the insurance company ahead of time and had us sit in the waiting room for over 40 minutes. At 8:55 the girl at the front desk said she received an email that my insurance would provide a response after 9AM. She agreed that they were supposed to do this ahead of the appointment and not while we were sitting there and waiting. We left. We will not be coming back. Clearly the office and this doctor does not value their patients time.

Dr. Wirtschafter did a tremendous job diagnosing a lifelong breathing issue that I had. The surgery he recommended (septoplasty) fully resolved the issue. He handled my care with utmost attention, professionalism, and knowledge. His staff were great to work with as well. He and they were responsive and gave personalized attention. I would recommend him.

I called the Doctors office for a friend who had just lost her hearing (emergency), and the receptionist said my friend needed an internist to recommend them. I told them I would pay cash, and they said "we can't take cash since you have insurance" what?. I told them I made a mistake and my fruend didnt have insurance, and I would pay cash. They sent me to a manager, and she said the doctor doesn't accept cash. Craziest thing I ever heard of!!! I said, "What about my friend who just lost hearing in both ears?" They said there was nothing they could do. That was the most disgusting display of our medical system I have ever seen. STAY AWAY FROM THIS QUACK!!!!!!!!!
