Went to ER and got treated very nice thank you
We had a good experience with doctors and nurses. The only downside is not enough parking.
Horrible experience!!!!I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL!!!!
Email me if any
Had the worst experience at the ER. I came in with extreme debilitating back pain Feb 2021, I've had two extreme back surgeries on my lower back so this was of course very alarming for me. I couldn't even walk that's how bad the pain was and they could see if for themselves as I basically crawled from the parking lot to the lobby where I was then helped and given a wheel chair. I Was refused any actual medicine that would give me relief and they refused to do an MRI. The ER nurse was just telling me her sob stories about her back pain and how I have to just deal with it. I was given a cortisol steroid injection which I asked for in the hip area and she refused and said it had to be in the arm. She must not have known how to do her job because as I've said earlier I've had many cortisol steroid injection shots in my hip for prior incidents of back pain, and she told me it wasn't an option for the hip. Don't lie to the patient just cuz you can't do your job. The doctor, (Dr parmore) was so unsympathetic and when he called me to follow up the next day he actually hung up on me mid conversation and never even had the courtesy of returning the call. Guess I was too annoying for him to actually follow up, as he visibly was annoyed from my visit the day before. I don't recommend this hospital to anyone and I've had friends who have worked in the ER here in the past, it's definitely gone downhill since then. I'm so grateful I don't live around here anymore so I most likely will never step foot here again.
Review by Nade GiorgiusDr. Peter Fontana is great guy and one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. The overall staff was very hospitable, especially Mike my nurse. A professional team that made me feel comfortable.
I would give them zero stars if I could. The lab department in its entirety are a bunch of incompetent people who can care less about someone’s life. My doctor requires stat results which is very clear on the script they fax over and instructions are VERY clear on what they need, yet my doctor doesn’t get results for days which is totally unacceptable and then when I call for an explanation, they give me all kinds of excuses and actually have the audacity to blame my doctor claiming they didn’t know they had to send results to him as opposed to my doctor having to call asking for the results. My health depends on it and they can care less. Disgraceful.
I just lost my father in a very suspicious way. I would like to have an explanation.
Normally they are great but greatly disappointed by my last visit. I came in as a last resort after not being able to contact my surgeon or regular providers due to the holiday. I have a complicated medical history and I explained this to the doctor. My normal pain levels were heightening which I explained to the doctor. I was told he was never going to be able to figure out a solution in the three minutes he could spend with me. My vitals were not taken and I was simply asked if I smoke or drink. I went to urgent care later on after repeatedly throwing up in pain and my resting heart rate was 138 and my blood pressure had risen dramatically due to the pain level. My vision was starting to blur as well and I could barely stay upright. My condition does not even call specifically for narcotics nor did I ask for them. They are always a last line for me.There are plenty of other medications that can bring pain levels down during a flare up. I understand we are all busy during a pandemic but I work in healthcare as well and the way I was treated was ridiculous. I will be interested to see the coding on my billing. If you can’t provide even remotely adequate patient care under stressful times then healthcare probably isn’t for you. I get that pain is never viewed as an emergency but I would consider dehydration blurred vision a rapid heart rate and high blood pressure to be enough to spend more then three minutes with someone. Ridiculous. I’m also not the type to sob in pain or be argumentative. I 100% expect my providers to listen to me even though I’m being polite and not freaking out. Such an absolute joke.
The emergency room reception at the very front and the side are extremely short and rude. People wake up, this is a hospital where empathy, patience, and care among other personality traits should be present. If that wasn't enough they kept me there for 7 hours to give me a COVID test, let me know that I was positive... No medicine, goodbye and quarantine yourself.... Huge disappointment for a BOCA hospital. Organized yourself... We need you!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
