Doctor's assistant saw me after having an MRI with abnormalities reported. The assistant consulted the doctor and said he laughed or shrugged it off. Another neurologist ordered an MRI and has been working hard to diagnosis neurological issues. This doctor is worthless.

We have been seeing Doctor Ashley. We couldn't be more pleased with her. Taking her time with us, never in a rush. Explaing every detail. She deserves a 5 star rating. Thank you Doctor Ashley for being who you are.

I have a very complicated medical history. I have had an autoimmune system disorder for many years and I also had numerous concussions. Dr. Costell was really helpful to me because he listened to me and understood everything about my conditions. I had a recent concussion and was still having symptoms after about a year later. I was diagnosed with dysautomnia from symptoms that I had by another doctor who suggested I go for further testing to confirm his suspicion. Dr. Costell understood my diagnosis of dysautomnia (most doctors are not aware of this rare condition) and he referred me for testing to further clarify what he thought I was going through. He actually has a non invasive machine that tests for this. He was polite and kind and very knowledgeable. I could tell that he really wanted to help me get to the bottom of the correct diagnosis so that he could help me. The office staff was also efficient and helpful. The front desk person Stacy was very helpful in making me a follow up appointment and giving me information for the further testing needed. Claudia, the medical assistant, was super nice and helpful with the in office testing that was done. She actually stayed late to finish my testing so that I wouldn’t have to come back for this. This was all done on the first visit!Carol the APRN was very nice and detailed when she took my information about my condition. They refilled my prescriptions from the other doctors that I had in the past very quickly. I highly recommend this office. Any bad reviews are unfair in my opinion and like I said… I have a very complicated medical history. I need doctors that spend time and care about listening and thinking out of the box.

NOSFL is by far one of the best doctors offices I’ve experienced. After my first appointment I have been going ever since instead of my primary. The neurologist I was being treated by retired from the practice so I was transferred to Dr. Costell’s patient list. Dr. Costell was very nice, helpful, and took his time to fully discuss and review my file, so far I’m very happy with him. The office is in high demand and certain times of day/year there are tons of people being seen, afternoons and summer tend to be quieter - same with calling the office - very busy am/long hold time, more relaxed pm/immediate answer. If you need tests done in the office that take hours then it will likely take weeks/months to book a time slot so large, same if you’d need to reschedule. Always have your insurance company confirm coverage in writing and take the paperwork and contact numbers with you to a first appointment. I adore the front desk ladies, nurses, & Dr. Jacobs.

Waited almost 3.5 months for an appt with Dr Costell. Office wait was almost 1.5 hours to see him in his office. No apology for making me wait as my patience was running thin. Please do sonething with the scheduling dept to do better. Also, if calling their office, plan on a 20 minute hold time! Just awful.

I recently was seen at First Choice Neurology by Diane Ashley, PA. We discussed sensitive results and the appointment was emotional. Diane was incredible. She was compassionate, understanding, extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably thorough. We set up another appointment to have a Neuro phsyc eval. I test was administered by Deana at their Boca Roton office. She made a difficult, emotional & long test bearable. She was kind, compassionate, funny, thorough and all around great! I then saw Dr Jacob who explained what the next step would be. Again, a fabulous staff member. Thank you Dr Costell for having an amazing staff at both locations.

I have been Dr. Costell's patient for about 5 years, and unfortunately, the good Dr. B. Costell is, the "none so good" his team is when taking care of the patients needs.Last month went to see Dr. Costell due to my migraines but he could not see a month ago; his PA did see me at that time, with a follow up appointment for this week.During the first visit, I was told that no new imaging was needed but now that went for the follow up this week, I am getting referred to a Spine Surgeon due to something found in my old MRI.That new specialist will not even schedule an appointment for me if I don't have a new imagining (at least 6 month). Yesterday, called back Dr. Costell's office and Arleen (kindly helped me out yesterday & this morning) sent out messages to the PA and Nurse asking for a MRI order but nothing has been done or happened. So, I have to wait for someone to call me or email to let me know if I can get the order or not...Thank you for your services!

I had an appointment scheduled that was switched to tele-med. Even though I needed to see the doctor in person, I reluctantly accepted the telemedicine appointment. Then, after waiting for over 30 minutes in the virtual waiting room for that telemedicine appointment, I was told the doctor would not be able to make the appointment. I asked to reschedule and I was put on hold for another 10 minutes.. the call was disconnected. Nobody called me back. I waited a few minutes, completely baffled by the fact that they didn’t call back immediately. So I called back, waited on hold again for another 10 minutes. When someone finally answered, I had to go through the entire process of scheduling an appointment again with someone else. This time they said that I had been scheduled already for the 20th (no confirmation of that being ok, they just scheduled me for that date). I had to ask for a manager, who coincidentally was the original person I was on with 🤦🏻‍♂️. That person finally picked up after I was passed from extension to extension. After 40 minutes of wasted time, my telemedicine appointment was scheduled. It’s a shame when good doctors are stuck behind this kind of office staff. Do better First Choice Neurology!
