Bruce Barton's Online Review Report Card

the staff is so terrible. they don't answer the phone during business hours & when you do happen to get the receptionist on the phone, they are insanely rude & short with you. I've been seeing Dr.Barton for over 2 years now and the customer service of his staff, especially the lady that comes in the mornings is deplorable. Dr.Barton also does not listen to issues and simply shoos you away when mentioning pain with migraines. He will order ct scan after ct scan and then give meds without listening to your concerns. I've been attempting to set an appointment to refill my medication, and his staff does not call back after numerous phone calls and voicemails. I have been waiting for my meds for 4 weeks and I ran out 2 weeks ago. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TIME WASTED. I had a primary dr ask if he's even still practicing. This should say something in itself.

I just recently had my 2nd EMG Test with Dr. Barton. Prior to my appointment I read some of his reviews. Some good and some not so good and most reviews complained about the front office. There were 2 women when I went in working at the reception area. One woman looked as if she absolutely didn't want to be there. Never smiled or greeted me into the office. The other younger woman was more pleasant. Both though could use a Course on, "Reception Area Requirements!" My visit with Dr. Barton was pleasant as usual. He's understanding, explains the test, explains in detail what he's doing and what he sees on the screen. I highly recommend him.

I rarely write a review, and should’ve have read the reviews prior to my appointment. First, his staff are beyond rude. They are down right nasty, and very unprofessional. If you are going to deal with patients, then you should be kind! As for the doctor, while he was professional and answered my questions, he was far from warm. He wouldn’t give me my MRI results over the phone, even though they were normal and nothing to report. This leaves me to believe that all he wants to do is bill the insurance company and take your co-pay. There are plenty of other specialists to see; you do not need to be treated nasty. His staff is a reflection of him. Go elsewhere!

Very caring doctor staff??

Very long wait time. Front office was very rude and acting like they’re doing you a favor. Doctor had a major attitude as well. He must’ve been told about the altercation with front office. He had an attitude also and very unprofessional Asked for. 3 month prescription of a critical medication. Come to find out he cancelled my prescription. Don’t walk but run from this office.

Dr.Barton is a fairly new Neurologist of mine whom I’ve been seeing for over a year. He is very abrupt and the last time I saw him he was pretty much shooing me out of the office when I was explaining my pain and it felt as if he was trying to argue with me. The receptionist in the mornings is one of the most abrasive phone customer care representatives I’ve ever spoken with. No matter what the call is about, refilling medications or setting appointments, she has a nasty attitude and has 0 Soft Skills. I work in Customer Care and she wouldn’t last a day. Respectfully,

The worst staff ever the two women in his Boca Raton office are the worst. They make me hate going to his office. They are rude and unprofessional. If possible find another Neuro

I had been to see Dr. Barton a few times, and each time I left I was very disappointed with his manner of speaking to me and his examination. I felt like he spoke down to me. The first two times I went to see him was for fibromyalgia. He was very abrupt with me and barely gave me time to answer his questions before asking something else. The third time I went to see him I was sent by my hand specialist. When I told Dr. Barton why I was there, he said that he had seen me already and didn’t know what I wanted him to tell me. I told him that I was there for something different, and who recommended me. He said that the other doctor was just covering himself. The visit lasted less than 5 minutes.

Finally some answers! My initial appointment was greeted with a physician who took the time to understand exactly what it occurred and where I was presently. He did office evaluations and sent me for more testing. Although the results were not what I was expecting or hoping for, I now know we are on the right track together. Many questions have been answered and some have yet to be answered by for the testing. As soon as my test results were in the office staff did their best to schedule me the next day. I was able to take a cancellation which I was grateful for. All of my doctors know him and trust Dr. Barton’s decisions. They eagerly wait to read his notes and interpretation of results. It has taken me 3 1/2 years to get some of the results that sadly, I had not had since a near car accident ( a driver ran a red light hitting my car so hard, it was pushed info oncoming traffic). Thank you to Dr. Barton and his staff for helping me navigate next steps.

The best doctor anyone could ever hope for. Kind professional. A great listener. I feel he truly cares for his patients. I’ve been with him since 2008. He worked very hard to help me with my medical issues and found a way to help me live my life comfortably. His staff is as amazing as he is kind and helpful always
