One of the best doctors, I highly recommend Dr Saltz and his excellent staff. They are quick to respond and they take the time to help you feel your best. A+

This review is from my experience was Dr. Saltz several years ago. I have been angry about it ever since. To be brief, Dr Saltz had me on medication for bipolar disorder. He also had me try numerous different medications to go with the lithium. I never recovered from the severe depression I was in. Dr. Saltz decided he could not help me and introduced me to a different psychiatrist. That psychiatrist also did not help me. Both were concierge practices which I could not afford in the first place but put faith in the fact that they could cure me. I ended up losing about 10 lb off of my 105 lb body weight, not sleeping, unable to eat or even take a shower. This went on for several months. Finally another psychiatrist helped me, took me off the lithium and put me on medications that I had used years before which Dr. Saltz did not try. Unfortunately the lithium exacerbated a rather benign essential tremor and a genetic hearing loss. To this day my balance is very bad, I keep falling and injuring different parts of my body and including many times where I hit my head with some force. I also cannot write anything legible and suffer side effects from a tremor medication. Seeing Dr. Saltz was probably the worst choice I have ever made.

Great Doctor. Helped me with my issues, unlike my previous doctors. Would highly recommend him. He actually cares more about his patients then the money.

The staff is quick to respond. I contacted three doctors and Febe the reception person handled my requests more quickly than the other two. All of my meetings have been by doxy.com. reliable... over the phone or by computer. Dr. Saltz is very thorough ... he is careful to describe the options and he takes time to make sure I have understood the options. As an impatient person, i found that it was good to slow down... Dr Saltz is patient and when I forgot some info he repeated the info to make sure I got it ... The online meetings save time... I don't have to drive there and the quality of the connection is great I needed a quick answer to some questions and his office got me an appointment in 2 days I have met monthly for 3 sessions then I took 2 months since the meds went well. He is not the kind of doctor that schedules appointments to generate income. He is careful to listen to me and he has pointed out when I was trying to rush to a solution.... these complicated interactions take time to sort out. Highly highly recommended.

Dr. Saltz listens well. He ii knowledgeable and able to explain questions in language I can understand. He has a friendly staff and Dr. Saltz return calls in a timely manner.

Dr. Saltz is knowledgeable, cares about his patients, he listens, and has helped me manage my persistent depression and anxiety for many years. In some ways, he has saved my life. He has helped me remain able to function and even find enjoyment in life. He is very professional. His front office is very analog, so be aware that making appointments will require a voicemail message that is always promptly returned. Not all practices work this way these days but it is efficient and easy even without all the scheduling technology other practitioners use now. The personal touch is actually refreshing.
