Bruce Stephen Rashbaum's Online Review Report Card

Hmmm.... This is where you went after double billing folks...

Gee, I wonder why he is no longer in business. Could it be for overcharging patients? Billing patients in confusing ways? Office manager never around to clarify billing questions? Driving out office staff and other doctors? Making the office look more like a personal art collection? Acting like a concierge practice without offering the services? Having your sister be the office manager?

Left this practice when Drs. Hodge and Alder were being mistreated and then subsequently left the practice. Rashbaum instituted a annual concierge fee of $250 which I accepted initially but then was being hit with surprise billing. Tried to resolve with the accountant and the office manager but they would play a cat and mouse game. Happy to leave. I'm surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit against Rashbaum. It's a shame.

I have trusted Dr. Rashbaum as my primary care provider for over 25 years. He listens but also tell you what he thinks. His visits are not rushed and he spends the time needed to help you. His office goes above and beyond to accommodate AND to work with insurance. I think people take insurance for granted but your physician can be your champion to get procedures and medications covered - Dr. Rashbaum is your champion. Moreover, he will call you himself with test results and will respond to emails/phone calls - a rarity in today's medical offices. I enjoy his pups - they are sweet, clean and welcome your petting if you want - therapy animals at their best.

The person who said this, ABSOLUTELY nailed it: “very prickly... Does not appreciate it if you ask too many questions or seem to question his medical decision/judgement. Writes curt, arrogant emails in response to simple questions. Charges a fee for everything and he and his staff act like they're doing you a favor seeing you even after you've been going to his practice for years.” 10,000% true.

Without a doubt, the most talented Primary Care doctor I have ever had. He is thorough and leaves no healthcare issue unturned during every visit. Choosing Dr. Rashbaum as my PCP is probably the best decision I have ever made. A five-star rating is not enough for him. He is well beyond that rating. It would literally be a perfect world if every healthcare professional could match his intelligence, compassion, and immense talent.

Dr. Rashbaum is the BEST physician I've had - -and I've had a few great physicians. When I moved to DC, I asked a colleague who the best physician and best dentist in DC were, being new to the area, and he recommended Dr. Rashbaum as a potential PCP, and he did, in fact, recommend the BEST. Dr. Rashbaum always spends enough time to address any and all concerns, and his staff is wonderful. He is both knowledgeable and highly respected in his field, and he is very, very down-to-earth and compassionate. Also his dogs, Boomer and Lolly, do their "rounds" throughout the practice spreading love and sunshine. Dr. Rashbaum is amazingly wonderful and the top in his field.
