Called to make an appointment for a new patient with Dr. Gelfman. According to United Healthcare, he is supposed to take their insurance. I was RUDELY hung up on by his assistant because I would not pay a concierge fee. This has now been reported to United Healthcare. Absolutely RUDE!

Dr. Gelfman has been my doctor for 17 years. He not only is a great doctor and diagnostician, but is calming, personable, and has a sense of humor which is unusual and delightful in a doctor, especially for a nervous patient. He sets me at ease. He is not a "fear-monger" in the slightest. I feel so fortunate to be a patient of his. His staff is wonderful too.

Dr. Gelfman has been my doctor for 15+ years. If you call him during off hours he calls back immediately. He is kind and compassionate. He listens to what you have to say and you never feel rushed. More importantly, he is a great diagnostician. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. The office is clean and the waiting room is comfortable. If you are considering a new doctor, I highly recommend Dr.Gelfman.
