List of Daniel Salama's Reviews
I had three different refractions in Dr Salama's office for reasons too complicated to go into. I sent Dr Salama a lengthy letter following my visits to his office, expressing my dissatisfaction. I totally expected his getting in touch with me when he read my letter, as any caring doctor would have done. He never contacted me to straighten out my problem. I will find another doctor who cares.
Please if your a patient or someone looking for employment.....This is not any place anyone should go to!! Its a hostile, toxic and completely unprofessional practice. If you value top knotch professional state of the art ophthalmology care....YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE!!! This is not a place to bring your Mother, Father or any family member, not even your dog!!!! Please heed this warning with the grace of God.
Worker for this DR. Staff and Dr were great pre-COVID. He is so horrible most staff has left, he claims they retired which is not at all true. Staff left due to the Dr
Couldn’t ask for a better ophthalmologist. Both my mother and father had cataracts removed by Dr. Salama and had amazing results. Extremely happy for them. Thanks Dr. Salama.
I was forced to wait 40 minutes for a simple follow up. Was told I would receive a treatment I didn’t need. The Doctor was crude and inconsiderate of my time and actual need. Not a good experience at all.
Mother got glass in her eye, receptionist asked if we had an appointment and we had told her no… she asked if we wanted a card to make an appointment…NO MY MOTHER HAS GLASS IN HER EYE! did not give us any recommendations and said there were no doctors in today… they lost 13 years of loyalty with us.
5 Start
My appt. was made for 1:10. Doc came in at 2:15 and asked how I was; no apology. Very knowledgeable, but not concerned with his patients' time. I'll be seeking medical opinions & treatment elsewhere in the future.
If I could give him no stars I would. Went to the hospital in the middle of the week because something hit my eye causing me severe pain and loss of vision. On my discharge papers they referred this clown. Fast forward 2.5 days and my eye isn’t better, so I give him a call. Answers the phone “hello.” After finding out he was the person I was trying to contact and giving him background information about what had happened he asked why I thought it was okay to call him on a Saturday. He proceeded to ask why I wouldn’t have called yesterday or wait til Monday. He attempted to make me feel bad about interrupting his weekend (the discharge papers gave no information about his office hours and I assumed he could be contacted whenever he was needed.) It’s very simple, I had little vision coming back yesterday and today its gone. He made it clear he was annoyed I called and he didn’t want to be bothered. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. I think he made it clear in that one phone call how little he cares about patients.
Our entire family goes to Dr. Salama and we only have great things to say. Dr. Salama is great with adults and teenagers . . . he is also goes beyond questions a doctor would ask in the sense that he connects to us in such a caring sincere way. We see the importance of going to him over getting a rudimentary exam in an eyeglass store as his training makes a huge difference awith resepct to evaluating ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
