David Makover's Online Review Report Card

No attention to detail. Paternalistic and condescending. Staff insisted on mask off profile picture, wouldn't use my DL pic like every other doc I've been to. Banged on my spine after I told him I have disc problems, and now my back hurts and I'll be on the couch for 2 days. Worst doctor I've seen in 30 years.

Kimberly is nasty! Can’t justify how a staff member would open a mouth to a patient! Dr is nice but ruins his business

All staff are attentive, warm, and professional in their demeanor. I’ve rarely had a physician who hits the high mark in all aspects of caregiving as well as Dr. Makover does. Without hesitation, I recommend him.

Don't go. Not worth it. Trust me many good rheumatologist to settle for this.

My experience was horrible. I was treated nicely by the staff but Dr. Makover was awful to me. I was going through a bitter divorce in which my X did not believe I had Ankylosing Spondylitis and was dumping me and my three children (2 of which have AS also)(I was originally diagnosed at Emory in Atlanta and new to Boca). My X did not want to deal with a disabled wife and children and had emptied all bank accounts and left. Trying get my X to pay something for child support and alimony my lawyer had contacted Dr. M to help vouch for me. Dr. Makover got so angry he literally yelled at me to the point where the whole place was staring when I walked out of the exam room in tears. He flat out refused to testify. Why I sat there and took it I don't know. I paid $60 copay for the visit and wasn't even examined just yelled at because my lawyer asked him to take the time to testify for me. This was awile ago but it really was so bad that I figured better to tell people late than never. Good Luck and hope you find someone kind. My children see Dr. Wiers-Shamir who has been amazing and I ended up at UM Deerfield with Dr. Savage and she is fantastic. as well.

Dr Makover, the front and staff are amazing!!! He makes you feel like there is hope. We get our questions in without hesitation. Will refer to anyone who needs a good Rheumatologist.

I have been a patient here for years, and the staff treats me so good every time i go in for a check up. they are caring and polite and I am comfortable coming here knowing im in good hands with my RA.

sorry to say my experience was not a good one either! Bloodwork done only to be told to come back for results and treatment plan. Returned to be told by the Dr. that he did not know of anything he could do for me and did not have a clue what my skin condition could be! disappointing

SCAMMED for a surgical charge we didn't need. You've been warned!!! What we thought was a consultation and a regular Dr. Visit included hundreds of dollars in extra charges that were never discussed. Very bad business practice.
