List of David Schwartzwald's Reviews
If there were no stars, that would be my rating. After being a patient for 25 years and having a very serious issue, Dr. Schwarzwald did not return my phone calls. No follow up, after an emergency visit to the ER and a necessary test was required. His office never sent in the orders to DCA…and then he left town nowhere to be found. We are now at the emergency room for the third time! He is a despicable excuse for a human let alone a Doctor!! No compassion whatsoever. If you are thinking of using this, Dr. RUN don’t walk. At this posting. Still waiting for a return phone call!
My father went here, he said the staff overall was "okay" took a while but was worth it. Although, it does smell like urine, office looks old, can be renovated, it's clean but just run down.
50 min waiting time. They don’t care about others time or money. The service was poor. Besides of the long wait and they charging you the $$ for the visit as soon as you arrive… they send you monthly bills to pay Again Dr. Visit
Excellent Urology office. Mindi in surgery scheduling is very kind and always helpful. I needed a test and she was very accommodating. Dr. Schwartzwald has a great office and people like Mindi is the reason.
3 years ago I ended up with Sepsis (11mm) stone that Dr Swartzwald knew about for a few years. Also had an 8mm in other kidney. It moved and I got septic. 6 weeks in hospitals, 3 weeks in rehab learning how to walk again. I had no knowledge of what happens when a large stone moves. Dr didn't care about my well being.... just bring in the next patient $$$$$. It was Delray Medical ICU that saved me with my daughter on top of everything. I had a tracheotomy, feeding tube, dialysis and more. I was in a coma and a Delray Medical Dr gave my daughter the pull the plug talk.. Thankfully, I am still alive. My ordeal should never have happened. This review got one star because there are no 0 stars.
If I could have rated a zero I would have! Office puts you immediately on hold,EVEN WHEN ER NURSE TRIED CALLING!-45 min and still haven’t gotten through! Dr. Was suppose to call ahead to Delray Med. Center- even they can’t get through! If you need help, try another office, no getting through to this one! Now approaching an hour of being put on continuous hold!
Great doctor. Nice person. Brilliant mind and bedside manner. His office staff is wonderful. You can’t say enough good things about this office. Jamie helped me get an appointment and the office was patient with me. It IS possible to have quality and empathic care. A+
Wait times take hours, sitting out in the lobby. The staff is running around in a huge, disorganized rush. No personalized attention given to patients. One dirty bathroom for urine samples. The whole place looks unkempt and not clean. They require an imprint of a credit card to be seen. I had to ask for an antibiotic before my cystoscopy. Dr Schwartzwald injured me during the procedure and prescribed a medicine not covered by my insurance company. Rather than prescribe a comparable medicine he made me file for a waiver from my insurance company. It was denied, all while I was in pain for weeks. His staff did not help. Finally nurse friends gave me the names of 3 meds, so I called him and he jumped on the phone while I was talking to his staff and started yelling at me. "Which one do you want?" He yelled. I said "PICK ONE." He did. It was covered. It worked, but anyone that puts up with this type of care is insane. Everything about this place is Third World. Find a better doctor, I did
Dr Schwartzwald is simply an excellent urologist. Thorough in his procedures he displays both empathy and confidence towards his patients. He is quite personable as well as being very capable of performing all my necessary, delicate surgeries.
I wish they had to categories one for the doctor because he's fantastic I've been going to him for years the second category would be appointments once again I had to cancel my appointment after 30 minutes of waiting I don't understand why they don't call you and tell you they're an hour behind I'd rather stay my house then an waiting room full of people

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
