List of Eric Lazar's Reviews
Dr. Eric Lazar is very thorough and truly cares about my 3rd stage kidney disease that began 8 years ago after one kidney was removed in New York's Sloan Kettering Hospital to prevent the spread of cancer. I moved to Delray Beach, Florida, six years ago, and in need of a finding a specialist to help me save the remaining kidney when my recurrent cancer began to return. I feel blessed to have been referred to Dr. Lazar who has been involved in my care for the past 4 years. At 81 years of age, I can honestly say to others who are battling kidney disease, that "Dr. Eric Lazar is a doctor who will do everything possible to help you." Five stars don't even come close to what I have experienced being his patient.
Dr. Eric Lazar is one of the most compassionate, competent and knowledgeable docs I use ( and I have many). Great office staff too.
Exhibits poor judgment. He gets moody and that clouds his decision making ability.
Easily the best doctor I've seen since I was a kid visiting my pediatrician, and I've seen plenty. He is tough, make no mistake about it. He ripped me a new tuchis for not taking my medicine regularly and seriously warned me of the dangers. Today, 99% of practicing doctors don't touch their patients. Dr. Lazar checks you thoroughly and he knows how to diagnose. This was my first appt with him and I am more than impressed with his entire practice. He asks a LOT of questions and needs to know everything about your lifestyle so he can figure out how to get you better. He's an immensely caring doctor, handing out 'tough love' and really wanting to get you better, and keep you healthy. Needless to say, I wouldn't have taken the time to write this review if it weren't true. If you're looking for an amazing kidney specialist, this is the guy to see. Top rating.
My husband, in his late 90s, has been in Dr Lazar’s care for at least 10 years... We highly recommend him... he is smart, kind, thorough and most importantly he listens and explains everything ... no question he is in the right profession...one of the best! Our only complaint is he runs a bit late but I believe that is only because he takes the time to personally connect with his patients..you never feel like you’re on some kind of medical assembly line and he’s rushing to get to the next patient!
Dr. Eric Lazar is one of the best physicians I have ever met, I can say that not only as his patient, but as a retired RN. He is amazingly thorough, personable, kind, and brilliant. I wish I could clone him, we need more physicians like him, especially in internal medicine, but he is the best nephrologist!
He is very detailed and thorough. He takes his time, answers questions and fully explains everything.
totally into the patients issues....highly knowledgable...no shortcuts....your needs come first...your time is his time
Dr. Eric Lazar has been the vigilant guardian of my solitary kidney's health for the past 8 years. I highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, sincerely interested in my well-being and has excellent bedside/chairside manners. One never feels rushed as he carefully takes the time to address any questions in addition to his thorough face-to-face examinations. He and his staff are very accessible and he personally returns his phone calls. I feel secure under his care.
Dishonest office. Bill was paid in full with receipt stating so. Went for appt today and dr. refused to see patient stating there was a balance. Explained it was paid and have receipt. They insisted and wanted more money from my 85 year old dad. Beware....
