This doctor doesn’t care at all !!! She cut me open and then flew out of the country the next morning and left no one to cover her patients. She left me with a hideous scar and a dimple and lied to my face the entire time. She should have her license revoked. Horrible!!! The absolute worst I don’t care where she went to college. She sucks

I’ve been seeing Dr. Berne for over a year now and each and every time I walked into her office she treated me like a stranger, as if she never met before. She never made herself familiar with my situation she always tried guessing. My Situation was stressful enough and dealing with Dr. Berne and her assistant Meldy made it more stressful and made my anxiety even worse. After Dr. Berne completed a biopsy on me, I asked Meldy to give me a phone call to go over my results just to kind of take some stress of, she promised to call me but never did. It gets worst, the assistant started avoiding my calls and they even billed my insurance under the wrong code. I was more stressed dealing with them than the actual issue I was having. Thankfully, I was able to find an amazing new doctor. I wouldn’t wish that kind of stress they put me through on anyone.

She is one of the best breast surgeons. I had a surgery with her and the procedure was perfect . She was super professional and kind . I recommend her 100%.

On my first appointment, she was late and got to the office after me. I went to see her again for a 1:00 p.m. appointment but she did not even see me until 2:15. She had my pathology and radiology films days before but failed to review them in advance of my appointment. After an hour of waiting her assistant said she would be right in... They just kept me waiting and wondering. When I mentioned wanting to seek another opinion from someone at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center, she immediately blew me off and said I will note in my chart that you are not using me since you're going for another opinion... that was not what we said but what she heard. I have been trying to get my medical records from them for over a week and they never return calls or respond to requests.

Phone doesn't work for either office? Great secretary, but poor time management. Appointment at, say, 2:00, be prepared to begin around 2:45.

I had a lump in my breast. Evelyn diagnosed it as Stage 2 cancer after ultrasound and biopsy. She was diligent in my care. She performed my surgery to remove the mass and after chemo and radiation, I’m cancer free. It’s because of her I’m here to write this review today. I’m forever grateful. I recommend her 100% to anyone with concerns of breast cancer.

This office made my biopsy and diagnosis of breast cancer extra stressful and awful. After my biopsy, I was told I'd hear the results after two days. I called for an entire week and kept getting the answering service and never receiving a call back. When I finally got through, they couldn't locate my results (10 days after biopsy) I had to physically drive to the lab that analyzed my samples to pick up the biopsy reports from them. I switched surgeons immediately. Bedside manner isn't good either. I was prescribed a valium prior to my biopsy but was still understandably nervous about the procedure. She barked at me: "didn't you take the valium?" Maybe I caught her at the wrong time, but none of these interactions sat well with me.

I'm so grateful to Dr. Behrne and her amazing staff! They helped me navigate a scary time, under deadline due to changing insurance companies, with grace and compassion. I was so fortunate to have them in my corner. Thank you and hope your holidays are happy ones!

Dr. Berne performed surgery on me. It was a terrifyingly experience and she was so great. She explained the procedure and what to expect. Also, we discuss what might occur in the future and how any treatment would be addressed. She did such a good job tha when i go for follow up mammograms, MRIs and ultrasounds, the doctors and technicians cannot even find the scar. I would recommend Dr. Berne to anyone. Her staff is the best. I travel over 200 miles for my appointments and they always accommodate my schedule. Everyone in the office is kind and professional. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Berne and her staff.
