List of Geoffrey Zann's Reviews
Overall, the care directly from Dr. Zann is great. However. I have received a number of bills from this office due to the fact that I was not properly informed by the staff what tests I would be responsible for and which tests would be covered by my insurance. I have a medical condition that’s yet to be solved, prompting me to go to the Dr’s office more than the yearly visit. Upon my last visit I had the same tests that were run during my annual exam. Those expenses were covered by my insurance. A year later (not to the day but a calendar year later) I went back for the exact same problem and had the exact same tests done. I was told I only had my copay. However this wasn’t the case. This time I was hit with a bull for almost $1200 for ultrasounds and other bloodwork tests. I called the office to see why these costs weren’t discussed with me prior to running the exams and I was met with a haphazard apology and told that the person who was in charge of billing at the time had just retired and that there wasn’t anything that could be done. They also said I was being charged because my annual exam was set for September and the time of my visit was April. So since it wasn’t EXACTLY a year to the date, they counted my visit as something else. Again, this was never mentioned when scheduling the appointment or checking in. I called the insurance company and explained my situation. They told me to call the Dr’s office and ask them to recode my bill as my annual exam. I did just that. When I called the Dr’s office back I was told that I was “asking them to commit fraud” by doing exactly what the insurance company (who pays them!!) said to do. This is absolutely ridiculous. An annual exam DOES NOT need to be to the date. It’s just that, once a year. I’ve gone to a number of Dr’s offices for annual exams in different months and have never been told I can’t have my annual exam until the exact date in the year comes around. Horrible customer service is all I have to say. I’ve continuously called and left voicemails for the billing department and not once have they called back. I ended up paying the $1200 in ultrasounds and other miscellaneous tests that had nothing to do with my reason for being there, like a DNA test. Make sure you get ALL the information before you have anything done at this office.
I have rarely met a more compassionate or thorough doctor. He REALLY listens to you when you talk. He is very astute and finds solutions and alternative solutions if needed. You feel like you can talk to him about anything without any embarrassment. His office staff is as nice as he is.
Dr. Zann became my oncological gynecologist when I moved to Florida a few years ago. I had recovered from ovarian cancer, Stage IIc in 2007-2008 including surgery and chemo. My oncological surgeon in NJ told me to have internal exams every six months when I moved to Florida and I had terrible experiences with gyns here until I found Dr. Zann who carefully reviewed all my record. Because it is now over ten years for me since cancer, he recommended yearly exames. He does a very thorough internal exam and has been there for me several times when I feared I was having a recurrence. He is personable, professional, thorough, and highly skilled and his office staff are warm, friendly, and encouraging. I didn't thing I could find a good replacement for my NJ oncological surgeon, but I did - Dr. Zann. I recommend him highly.
Dr. Geoffrey Zann is simply outstanding. There a very few Doctors offices in South Florida that are as efficient and on point as Dr. Zann's Boca Office Staff. The service is exceptional. The location is great and the actual office design looks fabulous. If you want a stellar cutting edge Gynecologist definitely visit Dr. Geoffrey Zann and his superb team. Very rarely do you find a great Doctor and Staff, when you do, you have to treasure it and share with others.
An appointment with Dr Zann is like going to see a trusted family member. He is kind, interested and caring while maintaining a professional demeanor. My husband and I truly appreciate the outstanding care he has given me. The office staff, especially Emily , are extremely efficient! Thank you Dr Zann I am so grateful to be your patient! ❤️
Awesome Doctor. He has a great heart. Cares for the health and we'll being of his patients
Dr. Zann is so great that I never changed doctors when I moved to NY. I always traveled down to see Dr. Zann for my appointments. Now that I am back in Boca, I am thankful that I am continuing to see Dr. Zann. Everyone there is incredibly kind, considerate and caring.
DO NOT consider this practice if you're in search of a gynecologist. I brought my Aunt there today. She is elderly and living with debilitating Myelofibrosis. She also has pulmonary hypertension along with a variety of other conditions that affect her mobility. It took a us a little bit longer than expected to park and get up to the office. Never did I expect the reception we received. While I was signing us in, a woman leaned back from her computer and scolded us for being late. I explained that it takes a village to have gotten my Aunt president and seated in her condition and apologized. My apology fell on deaf ears. This woman said we were now 13 minutes late. We had walked into the building at 2:36 for a 2:30 appointment. By the time we got her seated it was 2:41pm. By the time I signed in it was 2:42. It had just turned 2:43 when the receptionist turned her head and told me that we would have to return on another day. I explained that it would be cruel to reschedule and fo

It had just turned 2:43 when the receptionist turned her head and told me that we would have to return on another day. I explained that it would be cruel to reschedule and force my Aunt through the incredible amount of effort it takes to get here there. She had zero, absolutely zero compassion. She said, "...as a new patient if you think you can show up 13 minutes late with paperwork to be filled out..." To which I responded, "Have you seen the patient you're referring to? Why don't you stand up and take look! She's not mobile. She's on 24/7 oxygen. It was an extreme effort getting her here. You can't expect her to go through that again to come back. We won't come back." My Aunt asked what was going on and I explained that this woman was being nasty and asked us to leave. On my way out I raised my voice and told the woman that I hope she finds out one day what it is to suffer as my Aunt does and suffers the same reprehensible treatment. Compassion comes with wisdom and understanding. Two things this woman lacks. In all my life, with hundreds upon hundreds of visits to physicians that I have participated in for myself and my family, I have never been treated with such in incomparable disrespect, insensitivity, and lack of empathy. It's easier to handle when someone is unnecessarily cruel to me, but when they do so to someone I love; Someone who is suffering. That's simply unacceptable. I contacted my Aunt's VIP concierge referring primary physician to explain what occurred and that we'd be needing a referral to a new gynecologist. I hope Dr Zann is fully aware of how his staff is treating his patients. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Avoid this practice at all costs.
Dr. Zann is professional, compassionate and communicates. Nothing is a secret or covert. He explains EVERYTHING he does. I am 70 years old now, had 3 children with different ob-gyns. He is absolutely the BEST doctor I have ever had. I trust him implicitly!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
