I had TMS with Dr. Gil in 2018. Very effective for depression. In addition, the following unexpected result was even more important to me. I had taken lithium and depakote for 35 years. When I had started TMS with Dr. Gil, I had long time stopped taking them. However, I was still left with debilitating and embarrassing hand tremors (which passed psychiatrists did not attribute to the medications; most of them said I had essential tremor). When I finished the 36 sessions of TMS, the tremors were 98% gone, and I got up to 100% due to what I would call a healing from neuroplasticity. The tremors would not have gone away without the TMS. I always felt this should be reported anecdotally.

I went to see Dr Lichtshein in 2007. He is the reason that I am alive today. I respect and admire this man that is brilliant, patient, kind and believed in me. He truly is a gift in my life. Thank you Dr Lichtshein for allowing me to not live in fear.

Intelligent and thoughtful in devising and implementing an individualized treatment plan that is as unique as each patient. Dr. Lichtshein never appears hurried. He schedules enough time for therapy and evaluation of medicines effects and side effects should medication be part of the treatment plan. The doctor the most modern of treatment modalities available for patients who have not responded well to other, more typical treatment.
