Absolutely DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY WITH YOUR LIFE. He cut my artery during surgery and decided to finish the surgery instead of getting me help immediately. By the time I was transported to the ER, I required TWO stents to stop the bleeding and TWO blood transfusions to replace the blood I lost. He then proceeded to try to trick me into agreeing to a vaguely written agreement he said was to protect him from paying for future costs associated with doctors requesting my records and in return he would see me for two follow up visits for free, but then later, when pressed to repeat his explanation to my attorneys, he changed completely saying it was to protect him from anything related to him being held liable for his mistake. I refused to ever go back to see him and I refused his “discount” in return for his thinly veiled safety net. He’s a hack. He has NO integrity. And he gambles with your life when he makes a mistake then try to screw you over some more. Find someone else, anyone else, to perform your surgery and stay away from this snake in the grass.
Dr Gross has been an important part of my pain management and healing process since 2009. He is very patient, understanding, knowledgeable, sympathetic and empathetic. He takes the time to LISTEN ...something you don't see too often. He is always concerned about you overall health as that plays a huge part of your healing. I highly recommend him if you are in need of a truly caring doctor and surgeon!
If I could give a higher rating I would! I will be forever grateful for Dr Gross. After 3 years of going from doctor to doctor I was finally referred to Dr Gross. In one appointment he had figured out exactly what was going on. He spent over an hour with me and did a thorough physical exam, which most other doctors either rushed through or didn’t do at all. I finally ended up deciding it was time to get surgery on my herniated discs in my neck after years of pain and discomfort. I looked into four in network doctors and decided on going with Dr Gross instead even though he was out of network. I am so happy with my decision!!!! I appreciate the time and level of care he took in each appointment especially during my surgery! I really think he goes above and beyond! Samar is absolutely amazing too!!!
Hands down the best doctor in the business. Truly cares about his patients and takes the time to understand all the details and concerns one had as a patient. The attention to detail, extensive one on one time, and genuine concern he shows makes all the difference. As a personal injury attorney who deals with doctors and medical providers on a daily basis Dr. Gross was the only choice for me when I required a specialist.
Re: Henderson and Newport Beach's finest - Dr. Jeffrey Gross In the last several decades, I have seen more than my fair share of specialists. Let me open by saying that Dr. Gross, bar none, is the best that I have ever seen, in every aspect of the best of the best in the medical field. I knew instantly within the very first picoseconds, that he was brilliant; exuded more savvy than anyone in his field that I had worked with....scratch that...make that in all of the medical doctors that have treated me. He listens intently, takes copious notes, asks questions which make pragmatic sense and his bed side manners are beyond reproach. It's imbedded in his DNA, as you can't teach this stuff and it comes off as natural as I have ever experienced. From a sheer medical standpoint, I would have been 100 million times better off had he been my attending neurosurgeon after my fateful accident that left me paralyzed from the neck down. I am convinced after my first treatment with him that any subsequent treatments will bring more sustaining gains. He was the first in nearly a decade that successfully connected the dots on my condition. And, it is because of his utter brilliance (coupled with genuine concern) and a quick mind at multi-tasking that he helped me get a better introspection to the relationship of my brain to the rest of my body below the break are in my neck, post the accident. A spinal cord injury (SCI) is not remedied easily and he has brought my pain level down a notch, allowed areas to return to some normalcy, and gives me the hope that (even though timing is latent, in treating this SCI), he doesn't ever give up. He is on time; never rushes you and makes you feel that you are his only patient. I have said this before that I am able to go toe-to-toe with professionals that have the 'alphabet soup' after their name. And, usually, I only need to concentrate on every fourth word and still get the essence of their messaging; but, with Dr. Gross, I hang on to his every word. When he walks in, he fills the room. An aficionado in neurology, with an infectious personality, he processes on the fly and oozes of absolute brilliance. It is no small wonder that he was accepted to MIT. He had me at his sheer brilliance, And, I am not impressed easily. And all the rest of it is pure icing on the cake. It is refreshing to see the quality work ethic that he delivers and to know that he will make every attempt to reach a solution or countermeasure, even if it takes him outside of the box. How fortuitous that our paths crossed and I look forward to where he wants to take this next quantum step.
We wanted to write a review about Dr. Jeffrey Gross and Samar for their kindness and impeccable worth ethnic they display toward each patient. We can not say enough about Dr. Jeffrey Gross and Samar. They both go above and beyond to make sure at every appointment we are treated with respect. Samar always greets us with the warmest smile every time we walked through the door. Plus we can always count on her to be efficient with any paperwork needed or other phone calls to schedule appointments. Also...we never have to wait long to see Dr. Gross. Anyone that is experiencing pain knows how important it is to get into your appointment as quickly as you can because it’s difficult to sit and wait. During my appointment Dr. Gross spends quality time with us while actually caring about me as a person...not a patient. Dr. Gross is not your typical neurosurgeon or regular doctor. He actually listens to your every word. He does not treat you with standard medical protocol. He thinks outside the box to help everyone. We can’t thank Samar and Dr. Gross enough for truly caring my health:)
After meeting Dr. Gross I knew he was well educated in his field and he made me feel confident in knowing he would be there to guide me through proper treatment and recovery. Dr. Gross's staff is professional and show the same care for patients as he does. KM
In this day in age, doctors don't have much time for you, but things are different with this doctor. I flew in for my visit and we spent over an hour together. He is the only one that took the time and appears to care to help me figure out the cause of my lower back pain. I will be traveling back to see him after additional tests. Best second opinion ever. Thank you, doctor.!
My visit with Dr. Gross was thorough. It was not rushed. My issues were all dealt with. He and his staff are professionals, and care about what they are doing, and left me feeling cared for. This type of medical interaction is rare in this era. I will be back.
Dr Gross is my first concierge doctor and I am thrilled that I made the change.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
