John Bowman's Online Review Report Card

I went to get my cracked wisdom tooth pulled out. I sometimes have not good reactions to any anesthesia. After painlessly getting the injections, I started to get dizzy. Had to sit up and thought I was gonna pass out. The wonderful Dentists assistant, I wish I knew her name to list it, got cold towels and put them on my forehead and neck for about 15 minutes, along with oxygen to my nose, making me feel way better. From what I thought would be horrible, turned out to be quick and easy. She really saved me with the extra care. Thank you so much!

Dr. Bowman is simply excellent. He is thorough, caring, and skilled. His office runs on time and his staff is also excellent. He follows up his procedures with timely patient contact. I would recommend him without reservation.

Incredible experience overall. Really nervous and scared at first but Dr. Bowman helped me get over those feelings in an instant. The amount of care he gives to his patients is second to none. It was actually a pretty painless experience too. He’s honestly the only doctor I have ever met that cares more about the patient rather than the money. Couldn’t recommend someone more!

I went to Dr. Bowman today. My appointment was at 3:30 so I arrived at 3:15 to fill out the paperwork, The front desk person was very friendly. Took my paperwork and that was the last anyone acknowledged me sitting there for an hour. I happen to work full time so I had to leave at 2:45 to get to Dr. Bowman on time. At 4:37 I left the office, there was no one to say anything to. I understand Dr.s run late due to scheduling but to leave a new pastient sitting there without saying anything is inexcusable. I did receive a phone call from the front desk person who said his surgery had run longer than anticipated. I understand that, what I dont understand is lack of consideration of a patient sitting there waiting not knowing what was going on. No I wont be rescheduling there are to many oral surgeons with good reputations that have more consideration for their patients.

I went to Dr. Bowman after avoiding dentists for longer than I care to admit. I had developed a dentist phobia so I never had my wisdom teeth extracted. Eventually two of them developed cavities, one that put me in quite a bit of pain. I tried every wonky natural therapy in my attempts to avoid a real dentist, but to no avail. I finally went to Dr. Bowman after doing some research and reading positive reviews. He was well aware of my fear, and immediately came up with a plan to have my wisdom teeth removed under full anesthesia. Well guys, after years of fear and horror stories about wisdom teeth extraction, I had the surgery - and it was seriously a total BREEZE. I had basically no pain, and didn't really even swell up much. There were zero complications. I know everyone's body reacts differently, but I could not have had a better experience and was left kicking myself for putting this off for so long! After this experience, I started going to a dentist regularly (Dr. Karen Coello, who is equally fantastic) and got the rest of my more minor cavities filled. Together, Dr. Bowman and Dr. Coello moved me past my fear of the dentist!

I just got my wisdom teeth taken out this morning and I'm feeling great. I have little swelling and minimal bleeding. They started me off with some laughing gas to calm me down and then sedated me and it was like the best nap. The staff are so nice. Dr. Bowman is really sweet. 10/10 recommend

They're very kind and the office is super clean. It's a really professional environment and they're very clear with their information.

First off, this review is written by someone who's heart rate skyrockets at the thought of going into a dentist's office. Short version: Go here! Long version: Every factor one considers in their oral surgeon choosing process is five out of five stars here. 1. The office staff is clear, concise, and affectionate. There are no bad personalities here that will make you feel uncomfortable asking questions or making appointments. 2. The price is right. (Shhh... Flat rate for wisdom teeth on their website.) There are no hidden fees and you don't have to worry because the consultation, x-rays, surgery, and follow-up are all included. 3. Dr. Bowman himself is warm, knowledgeable, and competent. Yes, a friendly surgeon! And his name is John too! Don't hesitate in making an appointment. Yes, you'll have to eat pudding for awhile but you'll be so glad it's over.
