What a wonderful experience after an evening of stress. My 4yr old daughter tripped over our dog and broke her elbow! We ran to urgent care where we waited for 3 1/2 hrs for them to finally tell us she broke it. The next morning we tried calling tons of orthopaedic drs in the area and the only office to pick up was South Florida Orthopaedics. After a quick talk with the front desk staff they had our insurance put in and had an apt for us that afternoon. Needless to say we were in and out within an hour which was amazing compared to the evening before. She’s a happy camper and so are we! Thanks Dr. Moran…you and your wife are wonderful!

Dr. Moran and his staff were extremely professional and wonderful with my 5 year old son. They explained from beginning to end what was happening and made us all feel comfortable! I would highly recommend the office to family and friends.

Dr Moran has seen my daughter for a number of breaks and fractures. (She’s definitely accident prone!) I would not trust another doctor to do the same as him. He explains, is friendly, caring and definitely knowledgeable.

My daughter broke her elbow last year and we took her to West Boca Medical Center where Dr. Moran was called to do the emergency surgery. I had no choice in who operated on my daughter. Post surgery I learned that I had to follow up in his office which was in Stuart which was 1.5 hours away from my house which I felt was ridiculous that he was the on-call surgeon for a hospital in Boca. My daughter ended up having nerve damage and deformity in her arm/hand. During follow up appointments, he was not concerned about either and did not think PT would help. Months went by with no improvement. It wasn't until I got a second opinion from a doctor at Joe DiMaggio that I realized we should have been doing PT and fixing the nerve damage (because it can be lost forever if left unfixed). If we had stayed with Moran, my daughter could have had lost her nerve function in her fingers for good and not have had the progress in her deformity. I would not suggest going with him if you have a choice.

My 14 year old daughter had her 65+ degree scoliosis curvature corrected through a spinal fusion surgery at St. Mary's Children's Hospital in WPB. Dr. Moran, his office staff, and surgical staff were amazing through the whole process, from diagnosis to brace to ultimately surgery. I am certain that Dr Moran was the best choice and exceeded my very high expectations in every aspect of the process.

Dr Moran is amazing!! He takes time to explain the cause of the physical condition that affects my sons ability to walk upright. He had him in a special made brace and physical therapy and within 3 months he is walking upright. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Moran!

Dr. Moran was great, answered all of our questions, super nice doctor. The staff was also awesome, made my son feel very comfortable.

He was honest, respectful, and explained all the options fully to us in a way we could understand.

I drive from the Ft. Lauderdale area for my daughter to be seen by Dr. Moran. The entire staff is AWESOME!!!!
