Marla Dudak's Online Review Report Card

When it was determined that I had breast cancer, the next day a family friend called me to refer Dr. Dudak and praise her work ethics. She worked for this doctor and saw it first hand. Dr. Dudak is a very thorough doctor making sure YOU know every step of your treatment. The praise I also heard from the nurses in the hospital were great. She lived up to all the praise. Understand this, reviews & surveys I NEVER give all 5 stars! My recent check up visit she noticed a growth near my elbow and she gave me a dermatologist to go have it checked out. She is the best.

Dr Dudak is thorough and personable, She sincerely cares and tailors her treatment to patient needs.

If there is anything I regret in my life, it would have to be, going to see Dr. M Dudak. Having received a diagnostic for fibrocystic breasts, she scheduled an ultrasound and provided me with a flyer with information, which was not legible. She didn’t say a word throughout my check up. I was fearful and very upset since I had no clue what this was. She didn’t find the time in her busy schedule to talk to me about my diagnostic, about treatment, about what I could take for the pain, about what I could avoid eating to prevent it and what may happen next. The days up until the ultrasound were a living hell. The day of the ultrasound, she went from the ultrasound to a biopsy, butcher style, without allowing the topical anesthetic to numb the area, without speaking a word. And as quickly as she invaded my thoughts with my worst fears, she left the room to see her next patient. She is the antithesis of compassion.

Look no further! Dr Dudak is amazing, extremely gifted surgeon, I had three surgeries and end up with a minor scar on my left breast. I remember my first time seeing her... I walked in with the notepad full of questions and after her presentation I didn't have any questions at all. I've felt very taken care of from the first moment I met her. I am 6 months into my breast cancer journey. I'm 41 years old and I'm telling you having a great team behind you makes a world of difference. Looking forward to many more years having her by my side.

Dr.Marla Dudak M.D. My Breast Surgeon has helped ME since 2002. She is professional/thorough in her exams/and breast biopsies and ultra sound results. Very educated and the top of her class from DUKE. Thank Dr. Marla Dudak for taking care of my Breast Health. Mary Lou Boland

I had a biopsy with dr Dudac , which was painful during procedure ( she was rushing I guess) and I end up with infection. I had biopsy before in Lynn cancer institute and was very good ( no pain, no infection).After that went back to see her to discuss a surgery and when I said that I wanna go to other doctor for second opinion, so she got angry, and rushed from the room. I felt she almost throw my chart folder in my face. Which was very unprofessional.

I was referred to Dr Marla Dudak in 2019 & this month March 2020 (after finally getting the courage to call her office in late December 2019 for an appointment) I’m lump free & so happy with my experience throughout it all. I did a biopsy with Dr Dudak & a lumpectomy. Her efficiency & her confidence in what she does made me ready to let her make all the calls necessary to take care of me. Her office staff is courteous & I have no complaints. I’d highly recommend this doctor if you’re about your health & not someone that picks at minute details that aren’t necessary. I don’t need my doctor to sugar coat or hold my hands. I need my doctor to be the expert & tell me what they’ll be doing & how they’ll be doing it & let me make an informed decision. Dr Dudak did that for me. 🙂

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2013..Dr. Marla Dudak was on the Team of Dr.s that were part of my overall care..Those who Hear "You have Breast Cancer" understand the devastation that comes when you heard those words...I had DSCI Stage 0 Breast Cancer and I guess if you had to have Breast Cancer that is the diagnoses you would want..Nonetheless it still hit HARD! My Sister passed from Breast Cancer a few years earlier so I was told to go for Genetic testing to see if I had the BRCA1 Gene mutation which would determine my decision to have a Double Mastectomy since I was High risk for the Gene...I met with Dr. Dudak to discuss my Treatment...As I sat there in a flood of tears Dr. Dudak explained all I needed to know about DCSI stage 0 Breast Cancer ..She was positive, reassuring and I was so grateful for her compassion towards my emotional breakdown... There was a delay in getting my Genetic testing back and that women fought for me!....i''ll never forget it..When I couldn't get anywhere with getting the results she stepped in and got them in 2 days, It was NEGATIVE!... She is a No nonsense little pitbull and I LOVE THAT!!! She is thorough and is Always patient with any questions I have for Her..I'm in my 6th year Cancer free with a recent scare..My Surgery went great back in 2013 and so did my after care....So GRATEFUL to God for He ordered my steps...I put my life in His hands and He led the way....Dr.Dudak was part of my Team and I will be forever Grateful for the Gift God placed in Her to Help me and ALL Women that Face this Disease....Thank You Dr. Dudak YOU are "A Women of Excellence." :)
