My son has a humeral cyst with three fractures in a row. We follow Dr wherever he is, no matter the distance. His highly prfesional explanations evidence his wife knowledge about the speciality Besides he takes time to explain, show the radiographies, and on top of that he takes time to play with children! Who would ask for more!?

The staff at dr Cohens office is the biggest bunch of obnoxious, incompetent idiots I have ever encountered in a medical & hospital! Stupid beyond belief. So bitchy & unhelpful - every single person I have had to deal with has been one nightmare after another. From messed up appointments, to not telling me that referrals were needed to not answering phones & taking over a day for return calls! I am in such disbelief that Joe DiMaggio Childrens hospital would employ such a horrible staff that is so rude to parents & so abrupt & uncaring in their actions and tone to my child. I highly suggest NOT using Dr. Cohen based on the treatment by his office/reception staff and even the office managers are obnoxious with an "entitled" attitude.

Dr. Cohen has treated both of my children for the past 5 years. My son fell and broke his wrist at the growth plate. Dr. Cohen took excellent care of him and he healed without any problems. So, when my daughter broken her wrist I immediately called and took her to Dr. Cohen for treatment. My daughter has been in dance since she was 3 years old. During her dancing years before she broke her wrist, she often complained of knee pain. I always told her to ice it after practice. However, while she was on the sidelines at dance practice with the broken wrist. She still complained about her knee hurting. Dr. Cohen ordered an x-ray which revealed a bone tumor. We immediately had MRI and then Dr. Cohen removed the bone tumor. He has an excellent bed side manner not just for placing the kids fears at rest but for us parents too. It has been over 4 years since the surgery. She sees him yearly. I am so great full for everything he has done for us. I know sometimes there is a wait to see him at the office but sometimes emergencies come up.Dr. Cohen is worth the wait. If your child has orthopedic issues I Highly recommend Dr. Cohen. My kids agree, especially my daughter who loves his sense of humor!!

Dr. Cohen and staff were great and made us feel comfortable. Dr. Cohen was exceptional at explaining our x-ray results, treatment and future outcomes. He was kind with a great sense of humor when speaking to both myself and teenager.

Is there a better Pediatric Ortho? Don't believe so. He is heart warming, seems to really care and wants the patient to understand as much as the parent. Waits to make sure you have no more questions. Prepared with answers for any questions you may have. We did not feel rushed in any way. We waited probably 5 minutes, our appointment was right on time. WOW. Being a last minute appointment, due to test results, we met him at his other location, near Joe DiMaggio.

Dr. Cohen is extremely detailed with his patient evaluation. My son felt completely comfortable with his explanation of necessary care for his particular injury. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen and staff were very friendly and professional. My 3 year old daughter's finger tip was fractured from sticking her finger in the door hinge at home, so he suggested a cast so that she doesn't break it further by falling on it. I was very pleased with how they handled my daughter. They knew exactly how to deal with a 3 year old! I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.
