Awesome caring doctor

For many years, I have suffered from pain due to herniated disk on the cervical area of my spine, and I only have been a patient of Dr. Seth MacMahon for two years. Besides being a good listener with a great personality, and a good-looking man, Dr. MacMahon has shown great knowledge and expertise in pain management. In the pass, I have seen several pain doctors who just pushed me to take meds without the proper diagnosis, and I tried several medications that were not good for my health. From the first visit with Dr. MacMahon, he listened my concerns about pain and my experiences with several medications. He looked thoroughly the diagnosis from his colleague Dr. Arthur Germain and explained with detail all the different procedures that could work to manage my pain. He always has given me great recommendations and detailed information to make my choice. Currently, he is treating my pain with Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), although is not a cure, the results are incredible, and it last more than 6 months; so, I don’t have to take medications, and I only get to see the doctor when I need another treatment. Before, my pain was so bad that I ended up numerous times in the emergency room; after being treated by Dr. MacMahon, I haven’t been in the ER no even one time, neither have had a severe pain episode, and I can function normally. In addition, I got to ride my bicycle again, and I am doing over 100 miles every weekend, which has been highly recommended by my physical therapist. I am very thankful to Dr. MacMahon, and I highly recommend anyone who is dealing with severe pain to see this amazing doctor and his fabulous team, as well as the whole Florida Spine Associates gang, they are all quality professionals. You will not regret it! PAIN FREE FOR TWO YEARS!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Seth MacMahon and his office staff. I have had long term pain from scoliosis. Dr. MacMahon patiently explained all the options available to me and helped me make a knowledgeable decision about the best course of action. During my 3 office visits I was nicely greeted at the front desk by Jerrod and other staff members. After short wait times my vitals and history was taken by Dr. MacMahon's medical assistant, Zach. He was very polite, caring, and professional. During my medical procedure Dr. MacMahon kept me informed about everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. MacMahon and his office staff show a level of caring and concern I haven't experienced very often in a medical office. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. MacMahon is a kind and caring physician who makes you feel like he listens to your health concerns. Excellent bed side manner and professionalism. Highly recommend!

The aggression he came at me with was unfathomable. Refused to listen or read notes, very terse in his tone, unlike the kind, previous doctor who left the practice and who helped me. I was supposed to have a procedure that would provide long-term relief. Seth MacMahon refused to listen or look at the notes. Seth MacMahon loudly, falsely accused me of "insulting his partner" and then tells me, "you're not the only one affected by this, it's not about you.” He proceeded to open the door and raise his voice so the entire office could hear him say I need to find another practice. I am in tears because of the way he spoke to me, plus I’m in great pain. Office manager came over to speak with me and Dr. MacMahon purposely trying to prevent me from speaking to him, again raising his voice. I told him, shakily, "Dr. MacMahon, we all heard you the first time. I already told you we are done."

Dr MacMahon is an excellent doctor. Efficient thorough timely and compassionate. His office staff was very pleasant as well.

I was introduced to Dr. MacMahon and can say it was nothing short of exactly what I was looking for as a patient in pain. He was thoughtful, direct and solution oriented. And well presented (which still matters these days). Highly recommend , 10/10.
