I saw Dr. Bachow for a hematology consultation because of some abnormal bloodwork. He was recommended to me by another physician, and I later learned that nearly all of my doctors refer patients to him for hematology and oncology. He is a "doctor's doctor," and they would all use him to treat their own families. Dr. Bachow is very personable and explains complex test results clearly and in terms understandable to a layperson. I found my visit very reassuring and would not hesitate to return to him if I needed help in the future.

Dana Tolman, an ARNP in the Delray office is a prima donna to the max. She is extremely condescending to caregivers and it seems above her to exercise any consideration of compassion for their role in the family member's treatment.

Dr. Bachow is both knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Others have mentioned his good bedside manner, but I think more needs to be said. This is a doctor who treats you like a human, not just a 15 minute appointment. He is reasonable, personable, and professional all at the same time.

Dr. Bachow is a "care given" in the best sense of the words. My husband, age 87, has 2 forms of cancer - one possibly curable, one incurable. Dr. Bachow monitors the spread and encourages him to live the best possible life. This kind of doctoring is difficult to find.
