Dr. Laskas and entire staff are always very friendly and professional!!! We love Dr. Laskas!!!
Dr. Laskas has been my son's pediatrician for 11 1/2 years and have never ever had a problem with her or her office staff. No idea why anyone would give her a bad review.
Dr. Laskas and her team are amazing! I highly recommend her.
Dr. Laskas delivered my son in Florida 34 years ago. He was bit by a black widow when he was two and almost died. She saved his life. Thank you Dr. Laskas I will be forever thankful to you. You are the best doctor in the world.
The 2 star review is primarily because of the front desk reception. They consistently over charge, do not look at insurance deductible/coinsurance, and NEVER reconcile if there is an overpayment. Every single visit I had to remind them about coinsurance and explain the difference between that and deductible. They always provide a very disrespectful attitude about it and not looking to learn about how insurance works. Odd, because it’s a primary part of the reception role to understand differences in insurance deductible/coinsurance and provide customer service. The experience from their reception resulted in a loss of 2 long time patients (my kids).
Both my children have been patients of Dr. Laskas for the last 10 years. I literally found her because she was the only one who took my insurance when I moved here from NYC 10 years ago. We have been so fortunate having her as our pediatrician. What really compelled me to write this review is how she handled her practice during Covid to present day. She will not turn her back and refuse to see her patients(while everyone else is denying care these days). She’s doing exactly what she signed up for, providing excellent care for her children. She truly and honestly cares for her patients. One time when my son was younger we showed up/ no appointment on a Saturday. We didn’t realized they closed and Laskas was literally driving away in her car. She stopped, asked if he was sick and opened her doors for him. I’ll never forget that. Thank you
We love Dr Laskas. I have 4 children that she took care of since birth, they are now 19, 18, 15 and 14. She always is very professional and knows her stuff! She is very direct but I love that. Will do whatever it takes to keep you well and stay healthy. My children love her to.
Dr. Laskas is not a peple or employee person.
Dr Laskas was my pediatrician when I was growing up and now she is my sons who was born 13 weeks early. Dr Laskas was able to get my son on the growth chart and walk me through caring for a premature infant while making me feel normal and not secluded.
Unfriendly receptionist humiliated me and my daughter and didn't inform us of their office policies prior to the visit. I called for a sick visit and it was my daughter's first time there, although her younger sister had been there several times. My daughter was sick, it was her birthday of all days, and right as we were checking in, the receptionist informed us they don't see children who are medically exempt from vaccines. She was very unapologetic and insensitive to the fact that my daughter was there, standing behind me, 8 years old and sick on her birthday. When I pointed out that my younger daughter is unvaccinated too and has been seen here several times, she just said she didn't want my daughter getting their patients sick and that she had to protect the other patients. She showed absolute disregard for my daughter and the fact that she was standing there, sick. When I called to complain, one of my complaints being that my daughter felt very badly by the experience, to be turned away like that, she denied that her actions hurt my daughter by saying that she didn't address my daughter, she addressed me. The whole waiting room heard the exchange and me and my daughter left there publicly humiliated. Professional behavior would inform the new patients over the phone prior to the visit so that they don't publically humiliate anyone and waste anyone's time. Medically and religiously exempt children and adults are allowed to attend public schools and universities. I'm going to follow it through with the office manager. Once I talk to her, I'll know better their stance on professionalism and patient care and concern. Could just be this receptionist or it could be reflective of an attitude that permeates the office. I want to support professionals that are kind and caring and treat everyone with respect and dignity.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
