Thomas Bartzokis's Online Review Report Card

I am giving this report too late.I should have done it long time ago when he operates on me and could not find the opening in order to place the stent. but he did place it anyway ,I guess otherwise he will not get paid.had to see another surgeon to do the same surgery two weeks after. Don't be fooled by Harvard graduate.

I always feel like I've just received the Absolute Best Diagnosis, Advice and Treatment, Possible. Who would know better, having been a patient for the past 12.5 of my 91 years?

Very old fashioned Dr that seems out of touch with modern medicine. I did a cardiac CT, and had a high calcium score. The standard of Care after the ISCHEMA study is to treat the condition medically. But instead he wanted to go the old fashion route of a stress test then catherization.

Thomas Bartzokis had been my cardiologist for 10-15 years and I always felt that he was a wonderful doctor who spoke to me like a friend. On my last visit back in 2016, he told me not to come back until I turned 60 years old. Well as luck would have it, I did turn 60 and called to make an appointment. To my surprise, I was told he is now a "concierge doctor" and I was no longer considered an existing patient. Thanks for nothing Bartzokis! This is the second doctor who has done this to me and I find it utterly appalling behavior by a doctor. Take the money and run Tom. CYA.

Patient, considerate and thorough. I would recommend Dr. Bartzokis to anyone. He is conservative in his approach and practical. He takes the time to explain the issues and provides options for treatment. Couldn't ask for anything more.

If I could give him a zero I would. My husband he was totally was a patient for a few years. He never had any issues where he needed his help. However, my husband was hospitalized suddenly & Dr. Bartzokis was away. He saw a doctor in the practice who told us Dr. Bartzokis would go everything at a follow up appointment. The office waited 10 days to make an appointment & when he met with us, clearly he was totally unaware & gave us no feedback. I called the. next day & asked for the doctor to call. One of his assistance failed to understand the circumstances. Her answer was I should have asked him yesterday. We both got upset. Again, I said we wanted to speak to the doctor. A few hours later another assistant called & her opened ng statement was, “The doctor wanted us to realize he’s not confused”. I asked to speak to the doctor. When he finally called, again. his call about him NOT being confused. “ I’m busy. I don’t have time to talk to you! Just go for the test! I busy, blah, blah, BLAH. His ego was more important than my 82 year old husband’s heart condition! This man took the hypocrite’s oath (no hypocritical) & suffers with an extreme Messiah complex! We’ve picked up the records & found a cardiologist know for his expertise & personal care. Good luck!🍀

Takes forever to speak with someone. When they called to give me my results, couldn't answer my questions. When I told them I wanted to get a second opinion told me I couldn't and they would cancel all my future appointments and I couldn't come back. They told me I HAVE to wear a heart monitor, said it would be sent to my house and I have to wear it for 20 days. Week later get a bill for $9,000, my insurance covers most of it and I have to cover $500 but NOT ONCE DID THEY TELL ME THERE WOULD BE ADDITIONAL FEE'S THAT IT WAS COMING FROM ANOTHER COMPANY OR ANYTHING. BE SMARTER THEN I WAS, FIND A BETTER OFFICE

There is no one like Dr. Bartzokis! He is kind, in addition to being expert in his field. He has kept me healthy for years. Very nice staff as well
