Thomas Lowe's Online Review Report Card

This one star is for the practice that bought it NOT FOR DR.LOWE! Dr. Lowe is AMAZING and wish it was still his practice and things would run the same as before. I am currently having a blood sugar spike, feel completely weak, lethargic and not myself and the doctor on call will not take my call. The after hours call service tried to put me through because I had an insulin question since I have gestation diabetes and am currently one of their patients that goes weekly since I'm 34 weeks but still they would not take my call. They said they are only taking pregnancy calls for emergency calls? IM PREGNANT and clearly stated this on the phone and they still refused to take my call. The told me to call my OB? Which I find bizarre since I'm going regularly to the peri for this very reason of what I have a question with. They are the ones that prescribed me the insulin - my OB has nothing to do with it. I pay this practice more than I do my OB since I go more often but they still can't help me! Terrible practice!!

If you can find another doctor, I would strongly advise you do so. This office is so awfully ran. If your appointment is at 8:30 don’t expect to see the doctor till about 10:30. It’s insane how they run this office. No consideration that you are pregnant and possibly uncomfortable or sick and don’t want to have to wait 2 hours to be seen. And I know this isn’t just my experience I have spoken with several women that have had the same experience. It’s also inhumane that they don’t allow spouses into the appointments due to covid, does that mean that the nurses and doctor are also quarantining and not having any interaction with people outside the office; no grocery shopping, going to restaurants, etc. doubt it. It’s sad to have to come to such important appointments alone and not allowing the father to see his own baby. Disgraceful.

This place has my wife wait forever. They dont communicate at all. You wait and wait and wait for hours. If you coming here please dont make any other plans bc you will not make it to your next stop. So rude of them to have there guest wait this long. :(

I had a feeling „I am in the wrong movie“ + the office is just opposite of the street to the hospital + the office is in the nice area + no waiting times, I was coming punctually and was taken punctually + the staff is friendly enough - bills take time 5-7 working days, I needed it much faster for my insurance - the ultrasound device is very old one (in all the rooms they have), the office have no possibilities to give you the wait of the baby, the length of the baby or to show you if the baby have a breach position - by tolling with the doctor I feeling not take serious - only 2-3 pictures with face of the baby, I wanted to see more data like „what week/trimester is it? They make falls and wrote wrong trimester at the pictures so I was wondering at home if I got picture about my baby or if it was another women? Because of the wrong data… - if you have questions than here is rude communication and a lot of lies

Dr. Lowe is the best! He is understanding and he listens to your concerns. He performed my cerclage and kept checking my cervix until the week I gave birth at 37 weeks which is the longest I’ve ever pregnant. My only living child was born at 33 weeks and 5 days.

I have been a patient of Dr Lowe since 2015 he and his staff are amazing! He truly cares and listens when you see him. I have finished my treatments and just go in now for yearly check ups but I thank God he is there if I need anything

The office is extremely rude! I called to speak with the billing department because they over-charged me and the woman who answered the phone was so nasty and said “you are calling the wrong number” like how am I supposed to know that they have different offices/numbers??? And then I tried calling the billing number and they haven’t returned my call In over 4 days!!! Unprofessional .... I should not have to keep calling and leaving message to get a returned call... the only good thing about this office is Dr. Lowe....otherwise, terrible front office staff.

I will give 2 stars because the lady at the front desk was sweet and the doctor was nice enough. I went here for my 20 week ultrasound today and it was by far the worst experience. The ultrasound tech, Barb, was the most unpleasant healthcare professional I have ever met. She ignored my questions, was blunt, rude, and made me so uncomfortable. She didn't even give me any pictures to take home. As it is, my husband couldn't come due to COVID precautions, and could barely see the ultrasound on our video call. Overall, I was extremely upset and disappointed. I was hoping they would have been more kind and the experience would have been more pleasant, as spouses cannot come like normal.

Dr. Lowe is an outstanding high risk doctor. I cannot say enough great things about him and his staff especially Patricia at the front desk! Dr. Lowe made sure throughout the whole pregnancy that my baby and I were safe. When the going got tough Dr. Lowe and my OB were readily accessible & consistently on top of my health. Thank you !

We went to see Dr. Lowe after one of my family members had cancer surgery. The oncologists we first consulted with were intimidating or made us nervous about the proposed treatment plan. Thankfully we found Dr. Lowe! His warm and caring manner put my very scared relative at ease and made her feel like she was in good hands. Having someone listen attentively and communicate with compassion makes such a difference during this difficult situation. She now actually looks forward to her visits with the doctor! (Kudos to the staff here for running an efficient office. We rarely have had to wait long plus the waiting room has a calm atmosphere even when it's busy).
