I have been a patient of Dr. Yorke and Erin Lake since moving to Ft. Myers from MN four years ago. They are both caring people and spend the time necessary at appointments. Never hurried. I was lucky to get in when I first had a medical problem...Dr. Yorke had just moved here from Wisconsin.

Was with this Medical Group for 3 years. Only saw an actual Doctor once. The NP was extremely rude. Very inconsiderate with time management. They want you to arrive 20 minutes prior to appointment then you wait an entire hour after your appointment time before they tell you the PA is running late. As leaving the office met him in the hall way dressed as if he was coming from a sports event. My time is as important has they think their time. Should pay me $25.

Quick backstory When I first visited Dr. Yorke roughly 2 years ago it was to finally address some crippling depression I had been shouldering since I was in middle school. I caved. I needed some sort of medication. I wanted a psychiatrist. I could AFFORD a physician and had been told that this was a reasonable first step for my problem. I was hoping that I could speak to someone about the way I felt. I was hoping for some sort of compassion even just a little while I spilled my guts to this new physician in this new city I had just moved to. What I got was an interaction so cold and text book I never wanted to see Dr. York again. But I left with what I needed Somewhere to begin. So I submitted my prescription took my first dose and the rest is history.Now to be clear this is a NONNARCOTIC SSRI. They take weeks sometimes months to kick and are hellish to withdraw from. Now...Fastforward to today. I had to move again this time across the country. This medication Paroxetine to be exact actually helps me tremendously.I moved again recently this time to Washington state. I knew my prescription was almost out of refills so I contacted the receptionist at Lee Physicians Group and explained my situation. They said they would reach out to Dr. Yorke and ask for a renewal. 2 days later after I called myself to check on the status Dr. Yorke has apparently reluctantly provided a onetime refill and has told me to get another physician where I am. Well Ms Yorke my life has not permitted me to obtain health insurance andor a physician at this time. Had you made any attempt to reach out to me personally as Ive requested several times I would have been able to make my case and have you refill this prescription that Im now totally dependent on. Instead you have given my situation little to no attention just as you did the first time around. So youre aware that I am still taking this medication. Youre aware that I would like to continue. Its not a narcotic. It has zero potential for abuse. And now after asking my pharmacy to submit a refill authorization youre saying no?? What reason could you possibly have for that other than the fact that your practice stands to make no money off of me so youre cutting me loose. Lovely.And so I write this review in hopes that it finds anyone that is currently seeking a new physician. If you want one that will neglect all but the essential aspects of your relationship with them as defined by their job description one that can only ever pretend badly that they actually want to be in their chosen profession look no further.I for one am going to buckle in for the next week or so of awful withdrawals from this antidepressant and be very VERY careful who I accept medical care from in the future. You never cared about my case Ms Yorke. I know it and you know it. And now well so does everyone else.

Dr. Yorke has a terrible attitude. Congrats on your one star I’d rather be sick than allow someone to talk to me like that. Not the first person in my family to feel this way either. Erin Lake is your best bet if you are in Bonita.

When Dr.Yorke was in Wisconsin she was the best dr.anyone could ask for. I really really miss her and was so very sad years ago when she left. Come back to Wisconsin Dr.Yorke

Love Dr. Yorke. She is soooo much better than my previous physician.

I was a patient of doctor Yorke when she practiced in Wisconsin. I really wish she was still my doctor.I am also living in Florida now but it would take 3 hours to get to her.Any way if you are considering her youre making a great choice
