He almost killed me after an inflection from appendix surgery, left town after I called him w post op fever, I was in the ER 24 hrs later w sepsis through my entire body. I was lucky, he is a terrible physician

This doctor is the most caring, patient, knowledgeable I have met in my 4 years here in Florida. His staff as well as he make you feel welcome and important. You matter. He takes his time with you and is even the person who comes to the waiting room when your turn is up. He covers all your concerns and then explains every detail, giving you the time to ask questions, it's unbelievable in this age when we experience the 5 minute doctor, that there is this doctor available to us. After second opinion I choose Dr. Petrites, had my surgery and I am so thankful that I choose the right doctor. Even after the surgery he came to me and made sure I was doing alright, explained again what I could expect and how to reach him. Thank God for this doctor. I say old fashion doctor service being given today.

Said he couldn't help my and my problem was gynecology before even talking to me much or reviewing the file. Said I don't know why your doctor referred you to me. Had an excellent surgeon in Ft. Myers (non-gynecologist) do my surgery and had excellent outcome. Dr. Petrites couldn't handle my case because of the medical complexity and tried to blame it on other things.

A very caring and compassionate doctor. he took the time to explain my surgery and what to expect. I had minimal pain and was back to work in just a few days. He has an excellent office staff; they were very knowledgeable and helpful in every way. I never had to wait long and all of my questions were answered.
