List of Nch Healthcare System's Reviews
I am very disappointed with Dr. Luna. He would not stick his neck out one inch for a patient. He came highly recommended in our little town of substandard doctors. What occurred was disgraceful he was proved wrong in his assessment. With that said his office staff is horrid. They erase messages in the portal and are rude. Some of the blood work Dr. Luna wanted did not have the appropriate codes causing further delays......Find someone else.
I have never seen anyone in this practice. I have called just about every day for last couple of weeks to get an appointment. Have yet to even receive return phone call even though I’ve left numerous messages. Can’t say how good the doctors are but obviously office staff aren’t capable of returning phone calls. Ridiculous at best.
I will say that Dr. Nowak is a fantastic Dr. The office staff however is absolutely horrible I called 10 times on a Friday no one answered i was told that they were open though. Ive been calling every day for a week now just to get them to send a prescription for my Dexcom sensors which Ive been out of for 3 weeks at this point because they for some reason are so incompetent they cant send a prescription over instead they sent my medical records. Ive dealt with a lot of doctors in this town and this office by far is the absolute worst.
Dr Luna is good but office staff is not. If you need your records sent to another dr. You will be waiting for weeks. They don’t really care about the patient.
In contrast to the negative reviews Ive had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Luna APRN Michelle Nowak and each and every nurse and office personnel I have come in contact with.I accept the other reviews stating they are busy or booked out but that is because they are in high demand due to the quality of care provided.I have never not once had an issue with unresponsiveness or unpleasant attitude with any provider or the office staff. I routinely get replies to portal messages on days and at times I do not expect anyone to be working which is highly telling of their dedication to provide the best care possible.I cannot recommend this team enough despite having slight selfish hesitations to share how great they are and others find out about this hidden gem. In my experience this entire practice is a very pleasant anomaly found in much of modern healthcare and I appreciate each of them very much.
Does not respect the patient. I waited 6 months for my first apoitment. I am 2 hours from the doctors office. I got lost and arrived 10 minutes late. He did not attend to me.
for 10 days trying to get an appointment. They never answer the phone and never call back. Left numerous messages.
My review is NOT about Dr. Luna as I never got to see him because of the utter incompetence of the receptionists which includes the UNREQUESTED cancellation of my appointment despite the fact that my very necessary Levothyroxine medication is about to run out. After scheduling an appointment 2 months in advance as a new and outofstate patient I was asked to provide my “medical records” from my previous endocrinologist in NY. I sent a request into the NY doctor and waited. I called Luna’s office a few weeks later to check if they had received them. They had not. I immediately called my NY endos office and once against requested that it be done as soon as possible.More than 3 times over the next 24 days I called both offices to follow up. Dr. Luna’s office receptionists insisted that my NY office had failed to send the documents. As my appointment grew closer Dr. Luna’s office stopped answering my calls. A few days ago I finally got through again and Dr. Luna’s receptionist a different woman than the one from before insisted the documents still had not been received. During this call she also threatened to cancel my appointment should I fail to get the records sent over. The day after I sent a family member to the NY office in person – and the receptionist there insisted the records had been faxed twice. He sent them again. Again Dr. Luna’s office then stopped answering my calls for a few days.On Tuesday their number more than 3 times to no avail. I called the main desk instead and the woman there had to physically walk to the endocrinology desk in order to get them to answer the phone at which time the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude though I do admit that I was not in the best mood either and patronizing very disrespectfully informing me that the NY doctor had finally sent out the materials but they were incomplete. They only sent a “doctor’s note” and Dr. Luna required blood work. This was news to me – all I had been told was “medical records” and had requested exactly that from my NY doctor. Dr. Luna’s office never provided me specifics and was apparently unable to use the phone themselves and call the NY office to specify. At this point I was just trying to understand how to keep my appointment. I asked what a doctor’s note exactly entailed and the receptionist said “Uh a doctor’s note” which was not a helpful description. After this comment I will admit I became very resentful in response mostly from shock that I was being treated not only like an idiot but also the sole person to blame. I stated that I thought the office was incompetent and hung up. Despite my frustration I did not request my appointment be canceled as I still needed my medication now on very short notice before I run out completely.Because my medication is necessary I composed myself and for the fifth time called my NY endocrinologist to request specifically that my blood work be faxed immediately. Today the morning of the 23rd I called the NY office to follow up and they confirmed that the blood work had been sent on July 22nd. I immediately called Dr. Luna’s endocrinology department directly for the last time at 811 am. It was the same woman as the 21st. She informed me that “considering how upset I was during my last call” she took the liberty to cancel my appointment.I cannot begin to express how disappointed and appalled I am at your organization and especially your receptionists. Their incompetence impatience and inability to explain themselves is actively preventing patients from seeing a doctor and receiving necessary prescription medication. This is shameful and shocking and I do not want any other patients to be subjected to such treatment. I

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
