Doctor Shallop and his staff were excellent during my visit. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that the wait times the lobby and exam room were very short. The doctor did an excellent job of explaining the approach to resolving my shoulder issue in understandable terms.

I was referred to Dr. Shallop by Dr. Sue Cohn for a shoulder problem I was having and it was painful. Dr Shallop had his staff do x-rays and after examining me and the reviewing my x-ray came to the conclusion I had bursitis. He explained everything in detail in the x-rays answered questions in full and was patient. I was given a cortisone injection by his staff and it was for the most part painless. I’ll tell you one thing. I went to see the Doc Brandon Shallop and I don’t know if he had pixie dust up his sleeve but my knee is 1000x better. Any issues ( soft tissue issues or if you’re in need of an orthopedic specialist Dr. Shallop is the man to see. Knows his stuff, is super talented and actually cares about his patients. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Dr. Shallop. More importantly he addressed the issue, found a solution and was able to get me back in good order quickly.

I first saw Dr Shallop a year ago after a problem with a previous ruptured quad surgery. He took time to understand all aspects and my concerns and worked to relieve my pain and improve my quality of life. This past summer I returned with pain in my shoulder and hip from playing too much pickle ball. Again, he took the time to fully evaluate my issues and set me on the path to recovery. I was doing great until my right knee became swollen. I could see on his face concern. He immediately drained the knee, sent the fluid for cultures and looked me straight in the eye and warned me there were potential issues with the fluid. Two days later my knee inflamed, and late on a Friday evening, after a day of surgery, performed an emergency procedure while admitting me into the hospital. The culture, true to his warning, came back with a bad infection and he pulled together other Dr’s to assist. Unfortunately two days later he had to open my knee due to the aggressive infection. His quick decision making, experience and knowledge saved my knee, if not my life. His personal concern and manner was reassuring and went well beyond what we normally expect. In addition to the care and support from Dr Shallop, his assistant Heather returned calls and made my wife and I feel important. In addition to Dr Shallop’s visits in the hospital the practices support Dr’s in the hospital made sure my medical needs were taken care of. I’m 69 years old. I’ve dealt with a number of Drs over the years and Dr Shallop stand with a group of special caring professionals and I’m proud to be one of his patients.
