List of Diagnostic Centers Of America West Boynton Beach's Reviews
The scheduling dept. at Diagnostic Centers of America in Boynton Beach FL are truly incompetent. First off they are all foreign Asian speaking and an offsite service. They ask the same questions for personal information every time I have spoken to them to schedule a further appointment same problem. They dont seem to know what type of appointment I need even though they are calling me to schedule. My first encounter I was kept on the phone for 12 hour with the scheduler asking me many personal questions which I didnt feel was appropriate and finally refused to answer more. I was then emailed an 11 page very detailed medical form to fill out. It took me 6 hours to complete as I had to stop and look things up. Then I would get timed out and have to log in again which probably happened 20 times or more. I had to sign the document in 3 or 4 spots. The only way I could do that was with my mouse which NO EXPLANATION WAS GIVEN ON HOW TO DO THAT. It took me an hour to figure that out. Why dont you use Doc U Sign? This form was much longer and more tedious than a first time medical form I would have to fill out at a doctors office. I then had to fill out another 6 page form for a 2nd appointment for 2 weeks later. I received a phone call from DCA to schedule me with a 3rd appointment The scheduler didnt seem to know what the appt was for and put me on hold several times to check. He started asking me some more of the same questions I have been asked twice before. I refused to answer and told him not to text me or email me another questionnaire to fill out as I had already done that twice. He did both anyway. I just completed another 10 pg form. Whomever in the IT Dept. for DCA is severely lacking in knowledge of making a user friendly form. They totally suck and need to get new forms in the 21st century. I am very dissatisfied with this whole process and will go elsewhere if I need any further diagnostic imagining. I spoke to a worker at the DCA facility and she confirmed that she has heard my complaint from many other patients.AddendumI was called by DCA and told that I need an MRI with contrast dye.I looked up on the internet to find out what is in the contrast dye as I am highly allergic to iodine and red dye which these products are used in many MRIs. I called DCA you can only reach the scheduling service no direct access to the clinic to discuss this asked to speak to the supervisor at the Boynton Beach office. I was transferred and the phone rang and rang no one answered and then my call got dropped. I tried again the next day which I did reach the supervisor to see if I could speak directly to one of their 11 radiologists. It was overall a 45 minute call to ask a few simple questions that never got answered. I was on hold for at least 20 minutes to reach the supervisor and then she put me on hold for another 2025 minutes just to see if I could get a question answered about the contrast dye. She finally came back on the line and said no the radiologists do not take patient calls and referred me back to my doctor. No suggestion was made to me about my speaking to an MRI technician. I was told by my doctors office that for breast MRIs the IV contrast dye is gadolinium. I read up on it and it carries a lot of possible side effects including debilitating pain chronic fatigue muscle spams kidney problems and even possible seizures and death. Some countries have banned its use. I guess the only thing left for me to do is make an appointment speak to the technician refuse any contrast dye and go from there. If they wont do the MRI without the dye I will have to see if I can go elsewhere or ??? Just to clarify I have no problem with the technicians I have seen on the 3 appointments They did their job well. It is the communication that is sorely lacking the schedulers who dont seem to know anything and all the repeated health forms.
easy to preregister online. Less than 2 minutes waiting in the lobby. Everyone wearing masks YaY.
Very efficient
Always professional and appreciate safety measures
Was wonderful
My appointment was very late and the door was locked. Someone finally came to the door to let me in. Even though no one was waiting with me I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my appointment time. When I was taken the test went smoothly but seemed to take longer than I was told.
The experience from entering until leaving was well organized and executed by competent and friendly staff. Head and shoulders above my past experience at the DELRAY Beach facility. Glad I chose this location and will continue to do so.
I have never had a more comfortable mammogram before the one I had at the DCA center in Boynton Beach recently. Christine was wonderfully gentle. Thank you
They operate like a well oiled machine. Fast and easy.
Everyone was helpful and everything was on time. All safety measures were taken.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
