Eric Heller's Online Review Report Card

being a transplant from another state, I need to find a cardiologist based on his qualifications and recommendations. I went to heller. His office staff was extremely rude, and the doctor hardly listens to me, which putting me through tests, unnecessarily and scared the crap out of me about the status of my health. He push medication's that way contraindicated and ordered test and then forgot he ordered them or let me know I did he look at them in the file. I constantly call to get results and I never got a response I sent a letter. I never got a response. When I asked for copies of my records to go to another doctor, I get the copies and I'm looking at it and it said I had a previous heart attack which I never did come to find out, he gave me another patient's records. This guy must've been good at one time but now he got too big and no longer into patient care.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Heller. He is pleasant, highly educated and listens to you. He saved my life 2 years ago after discovering I needed a new heart valve. More recently my husband was diagnosed with afib and Dr. Heller is treating him cautiously for that. We have found his staff to be very friendly with the exception of one person who is no longer there so all is well. We highly recommend Dr.Heller.

My wife scheduled her initial appointment with Dr Heller. She waited over 2 months and about 1 hour before this appt, Heller's office calls and says he needs to reschedule because he's going on vacation. When my wife told the receptionist she has waited over 2 months and took off work for this visit the receptionist was extremely rude. She has since had 5 appointments with Heller, 4 of which had been cancelled by Heller's office and rescheduled. On one of those visits she only saw his P.A. This Doctor is a Joke! Imo he is totally UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING, and UNRELIABLE. He has a malpractice claim against him in 2017 for allegedly killing a patient. His license number shows a previous claim against him as well. I would not recommend Heller to anyone, his office is that BAD! If I could give him zero stars, I would, but this site won't let me. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Patients Beware!

For months my husband was seen by another cardiologist for swollen legs. He was told to keep them elevated which he did, but the swelling did not subside. I researched doctors and he went to Dr. Heller who immediately saw the problem. He sent my husband to DCA for a scan that very moment. A blood clot in one leg was discovered. Dr. Heller immediately sent him to Delray Medical Center emergency room then tended to him with a blood thinner that dissolved the blood clot. Dr. Heller saved my husband's life. We are both patients of his. I have many heart problems and Dr. Heller has treated me with tremendously good outcomes. We have complete trust in him and wouldn't see anyone else.

Dr. Heller listens well and takes time when addressing concerns and questions. Aside from his sterling education and training, he seems to be a very caring physician.

Excellent Cardiac diagnostician with outstanding credentials. I had open hearty surgery with Dr. OZ in 2003, and have continued to be monitored since then. Dr. Heller is cautious, but definitely not an alarmist. He checks everything necessary before making a diagnosis. He is pleasant and knowledgable.

I recently had a visit with Dr. Eric Heller . He is my cardiologist for the last 10 years. In fact our whole family goes to him. He is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I ever met. His attention to his patients is second to none. The staff in his new office is extremely efficient and attentive. I would recommend him to everyone that needs a cardiologist.

There is no limit to Dr. Heller’s knowledge and compassion. Other cardiologists had given up on me. Dr. Heller has given me a new lease on life. Following my stent procedure, I was able to resume an active lifestyle and play my beloved tennis and golf. I cannot thank Dr. Heller enough!

Being trained by the best in New York, mastering the art of difficult cardiac cases it’s not enough to explain Dr. Eric Heller‘s expertise. Not only can Dr Heller perform challenging catheterizations, the outcomes are far superior than any other cardiologists, interventional cardiologist in South Florida. Dr Heller is compassionate and actively listens to the concerns of his patients. Dr. Eric Heller has my deep appreciation and gratitude for his outstanding expertise!

Dr. Heller is caring, kind and knowledgeable . He always makes you feel that you are his only patient. I met him when he first began in Boca Raton and would never think of seeing anyone else
