Finding a psychiatrist that accepts my insurance was tough. Finding a psychiatrist that will listen and work with you to find a solution was even more difficult. I just completed my first appointment with Dr Sobhan and I can honestly say I walked away relieved, feeling that I was finally in good hands. Dr Sobhan listened and came across as genuine. My first appointment with her was over an hour long; whereas previous doctors spent no more than 20 minutes with me. We've only had 1 appointment together but I would still strongly recommend her.

I was a patient of Dr. Sobhan's at Treatment Alternatives in Boca Raton Fl. I have completed substance abuse counseling but because I owe money to Treatment Alternatives due to their mishandling of my insurance claim, Dr. Sobhan will not give me a work release to return to work. I have a job to go back to but cannot do so without said release. Dr. Sobhan ignores my phone calls and faxes. Dr. Sobhan and Treatment Alternatives have deprived me of my livelihood.

Dr. Sobhan is incompetent and obviously can't understand what over diagnosis means because she just slaps them on you when need be. Say you feel you can't focus, and she'll write out a prescription for ADD/ADHD without further questions or tests. Highly doubt she even knows what the DSM is and convinced this woman cheated her way through med school.

After waiting for her for close to an hour. She was unwilling to listen to anything I had to say. She was condescending towards me & stated that what I had to say was "not important" only my son's opinion mattered to her. I was obviously upset by being treated poorly. I advised her I would leave the room and no longer wanted to stay & she refused to provide my son with the treatment/medicine we came there for. She is the worst physician I have ever encountered. Her bedside manner is dismal.
