OMG! Unless you enjoy being insulted and abused, steer clear of this place as you would avoid a disease riddled and rabid raccoon erupting from a gross garbage dumpster. Not sure what the circumstances would exist to employ such a rancid and malicious office manager, I think her name is Linda, but a psychotic and demented Voodoo witch zombie with a handful of rotting chicken bones would be more knowledgeable and helpful than her. I'm certain that the doctors here are professional, learned and competent. However, do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else.
This is one amazing dedicated doctor . I was in Bethesda west hospital emergency room I couldn’t urinate. I had .blood clot that was blocking me from peeing. The doctors there couldn’t get the blockage free. They called Dr Biase. He had just sat down at a restaurant for dinner with him family. He left and got to the hospital within 10 mins. He wasn’t there for 5 mins and had me peeing He told me to be at his office next morning And would see me as soon as I got there. He wanted to check me and make sure everything was fine God bless that man.
Dr Biase is a very kind man and did a beautiful job taking care of my father while he was in the hospital. I would have liked my father to continue seeing him but Dr Biase explained that he doesn’t accept Aetna Medicare. He also explained that when he has hospital duty, he must take it and that’s why he was treating my father. We were sad but certainly understood. Well - - 6 months later, we received a bill from Dr Biase’s office for over 300.00. I called the office and played phone tag for several weeks with the billing person. When we finally did connect she explained it differently - - she said that yes, when in the hospital, Dr Biase has to treat the patient but that he doesn’t accept the insurance. That is NOT how Dr Biase explained it and this office manager was rude and even got nasty. I asked if she could leave a message for me to speak with the dr about the situation and she said I could not. She would not leave him a message. It’s unfortunate that the office staff is not nearly as kind as the doctor. I’m sure he’d like to know that this office manager was rude and nasty.
The best! Very thorough and empathetic. He puts you at ease and explains the procedure he performs as well as listens to your questions and answers them thoughtfully and with concern for your comfort and well-being.
Great bedside manner and conservative in procedures
I am posting this for my late husband. He was under Dr Biase's care last year. After surgery that was said to have removed all the cancer in his bladder he started having alot of pain in the incision area. We were told it was nothing just a hematoma. After still suffering and getting worse Dr Skinner told him to walk a mile a day. Finally after going back a third time Dr Biase saw how bad he was and ordered a scan, which showed the cancer had escaped his bladder and spread. After months of chemo he died. The story gets worse but my point is we were not given any choice as to his treatment and were assured he could be cured. No followup with an oncologist till months afterward. And now I can't seem to get any satisfaction re the billing. A disaster all around and my husband suffered needlessly and died.
He is the absolute best. Kind considerate, caring and a beautiful man.
Dr Biase operated on my husband for bladder cancer and said he got it all and he would be ok. Never recommended followup with an oncologist. After about two months my husband was in severe pain. After three visits when he was told to walk a mile a day, he was sent for tests which showed stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. After another biopsy my husband was forced by Dr Biase to keep in a catheter for many weeks even though we practically begged to have it removed. We finally had a visiting nurse remove it. The last person we spoke to would not even let us make an appointment, said they were too busy. So basically they washed their hands of my husband and he died 4 months later even after chemo. I am not saying that anything was wrong with the surgery, except the cancer escaped, but I wish we were given a better choice. His quality of life remaining could have been much better. Please get a couple of opinions re any medical issues.
Great experience. I highly recommend dr Biase. Very professional, knowledgeable and great human being. Thank you
Found my experience to be exceptional. Dr. Biase answers all questions and spends all the time to answer unanswered questions. I was surprised that a day after I had my Lab Test, the doctor called himself to go over and explain the results. I really don't like any doctors, but Dr. Biase is A+ (along with his staff).

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
