Dr Guitierez is a great doctor but her practice is a mess. Been going for 7 yrs. Just had horrible thyroid problem. It took 2 days to get in. After appt I never got scripts. Started calling next day and forward. Made 4 calls before someone called back and was annoyed at all my calls. You can’t email her - they removed it from patient portal. The group is not interested in customer. Otherwise they would staff their offices properly.

My experience with Dr. Gutierrez and her staff was amazing. Dr. Gutierrez and her staff is kind, understanding, and thorough. Truly a blessing.

Went to my Quest Labs appt. only to discover once again no lab orders were transmitted to Quest. The Dr. & her staff assured me that this recurring problem would be resolved, yet once again there was no lab orders submitted.

Dr. Gutierrez is the third endocrinologist I have seen at this practice (the other two left -- one moved to Dubai). She is excellent and I have been very happy with my care. Many of the comments focus on problems getting through to staff by phone. It's true that it can be difficult to navigate the phone system, but I've found that by using the Patient Portal I get rapid assistance with anything I need. On two occasions, when I only expected a written response or a call from a staffer, Dr. Gutierrez phoned me herself. So -- both the practice as a whole and Dr. Gutierrez personally are caring and responsive, though you may need to use the Patient Portal rather than struggling with the "voice jail" phone system. The scheduling system works really well, and I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen.

I can not say anything good or bad about Dr. Gutierrez except trying to reach her office is impossible. I've called at least a dozen times last week and keep going straight to Voice Mail. No one ever answers the phone. I wonder if she's still in business?

My issue is not more so with the visits, because all I have not found a doctor yet that shows me they truly care, Gutierrez is a doctor that does more talking than listening to your concern. My issue is when needing assistance after the visits and having to go threw hoops to get help. I literally had to schedule a unnecessary phone appoint with her just so I can ask for documents to be faxed over to another doctor for a surgery. Her nurses never answer the phone nor do they return your phone call within 24-48hrs as stated on the answering machine. I have read many reviews about this same issue and I am aware that many people call with their needs but it seems as though no efforts are being put forth to correct these issues. I have even mentioned to her once that when I try to call her nurses never respond or call back but she just brushed it off like she didn't hear me say it. Her staff will eventually be the cause of her loss of clients, yes new one will come but will they stay?

I love Dr. Gutierrez, but I cannot get anyone to respond to my phone calls. It has been a week now. I may have to change doctors.

I saw dr Gutierrez and she was ok. She told me that they would get back to me with my bloodwork in about a week. I did not get a call so I started to leave messages. I left 5 messages and no call back. I needed the results to be faxed to my new internist before she saw me. I canceled one appointment with her due to no response. I am now going up to the office to get it myself. I will never go back.

So rude , I called to book an appointment sent by my doctor multipletimes,their receptionist always seems to be on the rush, with zero patience, then hang out right on my face.
