Best endocrinologist I’ve had in my life with thyroid disease . Sad to see her leaving this practice now .😢

i have had type 2 diabetes for over 20 years, and have seen a number of endocrinologists in that time. Dr. Gutierrez has been the best by far. She takes a personal interest in her patient and relates the condition to the overall health situation. This doctor is up to date on new medications and treatments, and does not treat her patient by rote. i can unequivocally state that Dr. Gutierrez has given me a more positive result than any of my previous endocrinologists.

Let's start with the Dr. Gutierrez is amazing! Her NP is so sweet. Now lets talk about the office staff. The front desk ladies are so sweet. But lets really talk about the her office manager Cesar... This man is the most nasty human being I have ever met in my life. His customer service is horrendous! My daughter was in the hospital for things that the office should have caught, we ended up spending the day in ER. I called the office to tell them we would not be able to make the appointment, we immediately called the office to let them know. We spoke with the physician directly. When we went to the follow up he came into the room with the children while the NP was evaluating them, screaming and yelling that there was a cancellation fee. My children were terrified. I got up and I told him, this is not the way to speak to a parent with the children in the room. I called to get the medical records because we decided due to this mistreatment we will switch PCP. Went to pick up the paperwork and the minute he saw or faces, told the front desk girl to bring all the paperwork, came back out and said this needs to be paid. Very rudely. Dr. Gutierrez as someone in the medical field as well, I advice you this man will start running your patients away. He needs to learn empathy and customer service.

I've been a. Patient of hers for 10 years for my type 1 diabetes. She has helped me bring my diabetes under control with an insulin pump and a CGM. She is very busy but she takes the time to answer any questions I have. She gives excellent advice as well as training sessions with her diabetic nurses and manufacturers of insulin pumps and CGM devices. I don't know what I would do without her??

As someone who is very involved with my healthcare decisions (I research on my own, listen to podcasts, ASK a lot of questions), Dr. Gutierrez is refreshingly one of the few doctors who takes the time to listen, answer questions, and is up to speed on the latest science (or open to looking into something I may bring up that is not as mainstream yet). I honestly can't ask for a better doctor.

If I could give 0 stars I would, never get back to me,and never answer my urgent messages regarding the supplies I need to survive. Just horrible office management overall, finding a new Endo as we speak since they

Doesn't return phone calls re: lab results. I left numerous phone messages, no one returns calls!

Dr Guitierez is a great doctor but her practice is a mess. Been going for 7 yrs. Just had horrible thyroid problem. It took 2 days to get in. After appt I never got scripts. Started calling next day and forward. Made 4 calls before someone called back and was annoyed at all my calls. You can’t email her - they removed it from patient portal. The group is not interested in customer. Otherwise they would staff their offices properly.

My experience with Dr. Gutierrez and her staff was amazing. Dr. Gutierrez and her staff is kind, understanding, and thorough. Truly a blessing.

Went to my Quest Labs appt. only to discover once again no lab orders were transmitted to Quest. The Dr. & her staff assured me that this recurring problem would be resolved, yet once again there was no lab orders submitted.
